I am once, twice, and three times a lady.

My Self-Summary

Honestly, I find encapsulating and condensing the essentials of my personality here really stressful, and when I'm under such pressure, I can't think of any possible aspects of myself to even display, so I figured just talking would exude enough personality so that one may make one's own summary of myself, since it's probably more telling than anything I could present. Thusly, I am doing so, and in doing so I've so done myself in, as I have nothing to actually discuss, which is leading you, dear reader, ultimately, to a dead end.

Can't handle the punctuation? GET OUTTA THE KITCHEN!

Besides that convoluted, high-falutin', pretentious-sounding bullshit, I like Thai tea, green tea, white tea, practically all black tea, rain, Champagne, Legos, etiquette, dressing up, dressing down, cookin', hookin', organizing, disguising, and noticing things that others don't.

What I’m doing with my life

Finding goals.

I’m really good at

eating.

The first things people usually notice about me

is difficult to decipher. I think most people observe things in order of silhouette, values, dimension, coloration, then the details. So going with that, I'd say people notice my stature and shape first, but I don't think it's interesting or spectacular enough to be considered noteworthy by most any observer. There are better things in the coloration and details in my opinion.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Oh, this is another one of those questions that feels like too much pressure. I'm a free spirit, god dammit--I don't need this.

I like my books and food to smell good, I like my music and movies to be either very bad, or very good, and the construction of all previously stated items is of the utmost importance, along with their origins and intentions. What makes art/anything great, but its context?

I think I might have confused myself with that last one... I'll get back to it later.

Update: I got around to it! It's sort of not that interesting, though.

I'm going to categorize the following items by chronological phases of my life, starting from the most recent, and continuing farther back in time. I'm doing this because I think it's noteable to see not only what one's interests are, but also how they've evolved (or perhaps that they haven't). Additionally, I will also only choose a few for each one, because my memory is poor, and only certain things appear as significant in my mind, whether they were or not (so basically, this is almost entirely negligible).

Current:

Books/Authors--> Haruki Murakami stuff, Banana Yoshimoto (because apparently I only read Japanese novels?), oh and I read some Ruth Reichl a little while ago that I really enjoyed. I hope she comes out with something new. She makes my juices flow... SALIVA you pervs, she's a damned food critic, for chrissake.
Movies--> The Fall, Akira Kurasawa stuff, Tideland
Music--> Animal Collective, Billie Holiday, Erykah Badu
Food--> LOCALSUSTAINABLEORGANIC foreign cuisine. No but for real, I essentially love anything that's well made, but in terms of regional cravings, I've been really into Ethiopian, Thai, and French.

High School:

Books/Authors--> Sedaris stuff*, Memoirs of a Geisha*,
Movies--> Eternal Sunshine of the blahblahblah*, X-Men movies*,
Music--> Fiona Apple*, Stupid Japanese shit, Frou Frou (god, do I regret this)
Food--> Messican, Cheap Japanese*, Expensive Japanese*

Middle School:

Books/Authors--> Hitchhiker's Guide*
Movies--> Monty Python stuff, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon*
Music--> Destiny's Child*, Blue Cantrell*, Macy Gray
Food--> Cheese*, Bread*, Alfredo*

Childhood:

Books/Authors--> A Barrel of Laughs, A Veil of Tears (that's one book, not two), Where the Sidewalk Ends, Where the Wild Things Are*, I SPY Books*
Movies--> MST3K (look, I'm considering it a set of movies, because you had to watch one every time)*, Mel Brooks movies*, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion*, Clueless*, Hocus Pocus*, and Matilda*
Music--> TLC*, Mariah Carey*, Weird Al Yankovich, No Doubt*
Food--> PIZZA*, SPAGHETTI*, CEREAL*

*Still Applicable

The six things I could never do without

Secrets, memories, self-control, dreams, nightmares, and pencils.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

the specific distance at which my eyes naturally focus when my eyes are closed. I want to know the most comfortable distance it is for me to look at something. And it's different for everyone, hypothetically, right?

On a typical Friday night I am

still here.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

is that when I was a child, I was scared of plays.

You should message me if

you think I'll enjoy you.
