Hi! My name is William, or Will for short. I am a fun-loving guy who loves to meet new people and find a good time. I was born and raised in Washington State, and recently moved to Everett. I am bi-lingual (German and English), though my second language isn't extremely useful in this area. I received my German Fluency Certificate from the Goethe Institute (via the University of Washington.)

I am a gamer. I feel a lack of compulsion to hide it, as I don't find it an embarrassment. Now if I was a basement dweller who feared the sun and played with elves and trolls to make myself feel better about life? Maybe then. I have been gaming off and on since I was twelve. Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer, Battletech... list goes on. Also go in and out of phases playing World of Warcraft. I am in a down period at this point - but God knows if and when I start again.

Don't let my inner nerd let you think I fear the outdoors, or the sun, or any other object that will repel the mole people. I like to think myself quite outdoorsy, from playing football with friends to swimming in the river and just enjoying the outdoors. While my job often prevents me from enjoying a beautiful day without a filter in the form of a door, my days off are (if I have a say in it, and can afford driving) off doing something away from home.

I am in a career oriented job working for Games Workshop in continued training for management. I recently moved to Everett, WA with a few friends and am always looking to meet new people.

Writing, planning and other creative endeavors. In addition to sales, though, my job also requires traditional hobbying skills such as small model painting... Yeah, it sounds nerdy, but it's me and I like to think myself quite good at it. When I have time, I pass the time with video games as well. I also can mix some killer drinks... at least when I'm still sober - once I start drinkin', you probably should avoid them; that or be SUPER adventurous.

Sense of humor. Outgoingness. I am rarely a reserved individual. I jump into most social situations with very little reservation. I am gregarious and open minded - which has been known to catch people off guard at times... but I roll with it. It's who I am.

Physically, a lot of people notice my Methodist Cross tattooed on my left arm. Most people, however, don't know what it is aside from a cross with a flame behind it. NO, it isn't a burning cross, and NO, I'm not racist. Grr.

Also, people tend to comment on my head, facial, and arm hair all being different colors. I've oft been associated with a spotted dog. Hmmm..

Interesting combination of things, especially as food is rolled in there. Favorite movies are a hodgepodge. My tastes are extremely mixed in that department, though I have a guilty pleasure for chick flicks and musicals. Ten Things I Hate About You being one of my favorites, along with Chicago.

As for music, it is a lot of the same. I will listen to just about anything, though I love metal, punk, and rock. There is no music I truly hate, though my favorite bands include Green Day, Alkaline Trio, Ben Folds Five, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Idiot Pilot, Korn, Ludo, Mute Math, Police, Presidents of the United States of America, They Might Be Giants, Queen, U2, Weezer, Die Toten Hosen, Rammstein, Fahrenheit 212, Nightwish. The list surely goes on.

Out of order, I suppose, but I love sci-fi and fantasy novels. Forgotten Realms, Warhammer 40,000, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, World War Z, The Zombie Survival Guide. I also have a huge fascination for Maus, and many other Holocaust survivor tales. Ever since I took a class that focused on them in College, i've read them whenever I find them.

And then there is food... Rarely do I have the opportunity, but I am a big fan of real, amazing German food. I have yet to find anything that compares to my time as an exchange student there.

Family, friends, and work. Most of my time is devoted to this, that, or the other. Although I have managed to find a decent amount of free time, I try to fill it with one of the first two, but the third finds its way into it more often than I would like.

After work, chillin' with friends. Hitting the bar with my roommate is a common occurrence, singin' karaoke and hangin' out. Other activities include going to movies or staying in and playing Rock Band with my roomies.

I had a lot of self-esteem issues in my youth, that I have struggled over the years to overcome. They are almost a shadow of the past these days, but there are times I just wish I had more get up and go.
