My self-summary
There are few things that drive me as crazy as those who stand still on the left side of the escalators and slooooooow walkers. Ramblings aside, I'm a guy with a sarcastic (sometimes dead pan) sense of humor, who draws cartoons and genuinely loves cinema. Creativity and self expression is extremely important to me, and hopefully it is to you too. I'm curious about people and what make them tick, and I value straightforward honesty almost more than anything else.
What I’m doing with my life
I work full-time as a commercial artist; I use to animate cartoons for a television show and now I animate for video games. I'm usually pretty laid back when it comes to most things; one of few exceptions is my work, sometimes I prioritize it over things I shouldn't. I'm serious about work, when work is making video games; funny how that turned out. I love what I do, but it is definitely difficult striking a balance between my career and life. When I am free, I'm usually drawing in a coffee shop somewhere.
I’m really good at
The usual stuff a visual artist would be good at. Laughing at myself. Making obscure movie references that no one gets. Noticing the little things people gloss over.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music. (Random artists from my iPod)
Ella Fitzgerald, Elbow, The Builders and the Butchers, Broken Bells, Beirut and Brother Ali.

Movies (In no particular Order)
Taxi Driver, American Beauty, Ghost World, Buffalo 66, Before Sunrise/Sunset, Brazil and A Separation.
Also, anything that Brad Bird, Darren Aronofsky and Nicolas Winding Refn directs; those guys can do no wrong in my opinion.
A recent favourite is a documentary called 'Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry'

Shows
The Wire, Six Feet Under, Louie, Breaking Bad, The Venture Bros and Mission Hill.

Books
The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Reader, The Road, Proust was a Neuroscientist, Half Empty and The Great Gatsby.
I know My backlog of important literature to work through is shameful, but I'll get around to it one bus ride at a time...

Podcasts
This American Life, Radiolab, The Moth, The /Filmcast, and 99% invisible (a podcast about art and design)
The six things I could never do without
-Pencil
-Sketchbook
-Music
-Nice coffee shops to draw in
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Traveling, career, the side of life everyone has but no one ever talks about, and how we're just specs on a piece of rock hurtling through space.
