Basically I'm a somewhat educated former long hair now clean cut. I own my own tuxedo although I usually only need it once or twice a year. I prefer spendng my time in the company of creative types but I play well with the "normal" folks too.
In the past live music was a big part of my life. These days I don't get to go to concerts as much as I would like but hopefully that will change. In the late 80's I worked at a large live music club in downtown Atlanta, The Cotton Club. I loved that job. I had my own progressive/alternative radio show for 3 years while attending Georgia Southern University. After graduating from GSU, I worked as a programmer/consultant for financial institutions and traveled extensively around the midwest and eastern US and Canada. I traveled 100% of the time and was never home. Eventually I got tired of throwing money away on rent for an apartment I wasn't using so I bought a brand new house. I hate owing money to anyone so I paid the 15 year mortgage off 10 years. When my first daughter was born I quit my consulting job to stay home to be Mr Mom. Now, years later, my youngest daughter is in 1st grade and I find I have a lot of free time during the day. Well at least up until I pick the kids up from school. Then, after 3pm, I transform into Soccer/Ballet/Gymnastics Dad.
As a creative outlet I play around with photography, graphic design and 3D modeling. These creative interests have lead me to build a small business that I now run that creates stickers for street and graffiti artists all over the country and even some as far away as Australia.
