I'm a programmer and network administrator for a small company outside of Spokane.

I like cats, but the duplex I rent doesn't allow kittens, and who wants a USED cat? I hate snow. I don't talk much, unless you prod me about a subject I'm passionate about, but I like listening and I am good at smiling and nodding.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

(a) Stephen King. Douglas Adams. Neal Stephenson. Al Franken. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. But honestly, I'm not an avid reader; almost all my book reading is done on airplanes.

(b) The Big Lebowski, Requiem for a Dream, Cannibal! The Musical, American Beauty, Memento, Snatch, Scream, Harold & Kumar, The Dark Knight, The Kentucky Fried Movie.

(c) I like electronic music, alternative rock, 80s/90s hits, and some hip hop, jazz, and classical. I'll list some of my favorite bands (but I don't really listen to music that way, satellite radio has changed my life): They Might Be Giants, Garbage, Cake, The Decemberists, No Doubt, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, Franz Ferdinand, Muse, and Surf Patrol.

(d) Italian, Chinese, Mexican, or simple things like burgers, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob. If I'm going out for a special occasion, it's probably to Tomato Street or Peking North.

(e) Bonus category! TV: The Wire, Squidbillies, The Sopranos, Tim & Eric, Weeds, Lost, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Office.
