My self-summary
Traveling. Yes, searching for experience of life. Love being out in the world asking questions and spreading goodness. I've recently been touched by the dhamma and it has uplifted my life.

***I have returned to NYC after traveling two years in Asia. I am enjoying the experience of seeing this remarkable city transform between seasons. I am sharing happiness and smiles wherever I go. Take that NYC! Lol
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I am traveling although I return to nyc in April. So far this is an amazing experience. I like developing my spirituality, so every day I work on this. It feels like the only important thing in life is to improve oneself and be a good person. Does anyone disagree?

No longer traveling! Loving being in NYC and surrounding myself with loving people... Friends, family and children!
I’m really good at
Meditating! In fact, I just spent 9 months in Burma while meditating 14 hours a day in silence, vipassana tradition, but not Goenke, I wanted to go learn from the teacher of teachers, straight to the source of wisdom.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm either outgoing or calm... Depends on the energy of the moment.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've been reading a lot of poetry... Rumi and Pessoa. Also spiritual or existential literature. But I am always reading 3-4 books at a time, one of which will be about Buddhism, another a book of poetry, and the third something about history (or philosophy)

And I love breaking bad! Watching it now!!!
The six things I could never do without
ok, this is weird... what could i actually never do without? well, that's easy to answer. water, food.

my modern life makes me need:
Passport
Internet
Spirituality
Meditation
Love
Friends/family (is that two? Nah!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Meaning. God. Life. Universe. Love. Sex. Relationships. Purpose. And then trying to let go of all my attachments.

How to put intimacy into my life and put more love into the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Nothing is typical as I travel...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have experienced a lot. And I'm willing to share it with others. I've overcome a lot and I find my past to be the most beautiful blessing. When I compare myself to great figures in history, most of them stay miserable. I have achieved a lot of peace (still practicing to improve my peacefulness).

Here is what I will admit..

I will see your unhappiness and I will not try to fix you.
