Pay bills via graphic design, but truly consider myself a photographer, as it's my number one passion. Why not do that for a living? I don't want to spoil the fun. :) My VERY close number two passion is traveling. I haven't traveled nearly as often as I'd like, but I've done a bit, and I plan on doing much more (very exciting few months lined up this year!)

I like taking ridiculously long walks, at a saunterly pace. Also, I may have made that word up. I want to see everywhere at least once, even if it sucks. But I also want to balance it with responsibility. I like to think I'm fairly well rounded, as I enjoy scifi and comics, as well as sports and politics. In general, I prefer to focus as much of my free time on doing things I enjoy... which, saying that, seems like common sense.

I work one of those 9-5s during the week. At night, I try to stay active with basketball or swimming, then wind down with Stewart/Colbert or something. On the weekends I like to explore either this area or go out of town, practice photography, or do mysterious things (insert spooky music here).

My face is made of rubber. Possibly literally. Being practical and responsible. I'm not too proud to say that I've made a decent life for myself out of very humble beginnings, mostly due to practicality and focusing on making the right decisions. Finding the silver lining, and humor in almost any situation.

Generally that I'm a skeleton wrapped in skin, or that I'm very, very bald. Some take notice of the camera wrapped around me, too.

Read - I read a lot actually, but not books. I spend a lot my day reading the news and various blogs on subjects I enjoy. That and comic books, love me some Batman, Walking Dead and Marvel's Ultimate universe. I'm actually looking for more comic suggestions, so any and all are very welcome. Just finished "Y, The Last Man", that was quite interesting.

Movies - I enjoy most movies, as long as I keep my expectations realistic. My random list of favorites include... The Nightmare Before Christmas, Amelie, Dark Knight Trilogy, Moulin Rouge, Secretary, Crash, Star Trek (2009) annnnnddddd Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. This list is kind of old, but still relevant.

Shows - Game of Thrones, Californication, Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Colbert, Stewart, Conan, random Netflix shows I get addicted to and blow through way too fast in a series of unproductive days. You know... the usual.

Music - Much like movies, I can enjoy most music, as long as it's quality. I really like classical but don't know anything about it; if you want to educate me on the awesomeness of classical, I'd love it. I often times listen to classic rock, funk, metal or acoustic. Depending on the mood, or what I need to get done.

Food - I seem to like it Irish/Americana. Give me a good meat and potatoes sort of dinner and I'll be very happy. Other good things include baked goods, fruit and juice.... oh... and.... SMOOTHIES!!! That being said, I like trying new foods, even if I don't always agree with them.

Photography, traveling, nature, to-do lists, chapstick and... laughter (I could go on about how important I think laughter is, but it'd be boring... simply put, it's incredibly important to me).

About places I would like to go, and how I could go about doing it.

I also think a lot about my goals, and how to achieve them. Though, as goals get completed, they obviously head out of my mind to be replaced with new goals.

In reality, I'm much more likely to be excited about a Saturday or Sunday morning than a Friday night. I'm generally a morning person, and I love being able to wake up without an alarm and go walk to a nice breakfast joint to start the day off right. I'm more likely to stay low key on Friday nights, so that I have energy to really enjoy the weekend.

This isn't really private, but whatever... In a few ways, I'm a kid at heart, and always will be. I'm always curious about things, especially new things. I have fun being silly, I can't help it. Don't get me wrong, I take care of my responsibilities, but when those are over, I like to have a good laugh and do random things if I can help it.

Generally I'm open to meeting most people. I'd love to develop a more robust social life in the area, as too many of my friends are not local. I'm a big fan of adventures, hiking and traveling, so any partners in crime in that aspect are most definitely welcome!

In regards to romantic relations, I'd like to meet someone who is open minded, socially liberal, stable and/or responsible, and preferably with some artistic talent, but it's not a must. I especially enjoy those who have the intelligence and quickness to be witty.

Or if you want cookies. I make a damned good cookie.

OR (this never ends?) if you want to give me baked goods and/or recipes. I want to learn to make more stuff!
