If I ever decided to have a pet I would get a sloth, not for the curiosity of the three fingered limbs, but anything that can grow substantial fields of moss on itself, whilst alive is seriously appreciating of being in the moment.
Ok honestly: daily and seasonal movement of the sun, landscapes without humans, kids beaming smiles impervious to the world's chaos, intensity of connection with friends, lovers and that close knit circle of people you spend a life trying to find and retain.
