I am a 23 year old voice student. I moved from Arkansas to Baltimore last year and I am looking to date someone. I have never been in a committed relationship before, and I am looking to change that. I want someone I can be myself with have fun with. I used to be content to have these flings with guys, but as of the past year the few I've had have felt remarkably unsatisfying. Time for something new.

I am a graduate student in voice. I honestly see myself teaching in the end, but I'm going to spenvd a few years getting my own voice in order and auditioning for things. That way, no matter what happens, I can have some experience to impart my students with. I plan on moving to NYC next fall and working with a teacher I really like and auditioning for things. Right now I'm getting ready for summer festivals and my master's recital. One day at a time.

I like to think I'm a pretty singer. I don't have it all figured out yet, but I think I can make some nice sounds when I want to. And I think I'm good at "reading" people.

I can be pretty blunt. People have also told me that I am quite forward.

Books: Harry Potter (I was a true fan. I started reading them years before the movies came out.), Grisham (fellow Arkansan), Lost in the Meritocracy, The Inner Voice, The Naked Voice and LOTS of books and articles about singers and singing. I don't read too much fiction. Particularly when I'm in school. I always feel like a bum for not reading more.

Movies: Hook, Billy Elliott, American Beauty, City of God, Me & You & Everyone We Know, Star Wars (The old ones. Most of the new ones sucked.), Indiana Jones, Memento, Donnie Darko, Kill Bill, Inglourious Basterds, Pulp Fiction, Transamerica and a ton of other. I worked at 3 different video stores and there was not much else to do in Arkansas.

Musis: Opera, symphonic shit, Marilyn Horne, Renée Fleming, Joyce DiDonato, Nicola Gedda, Franco Corelli, Thomas Allen, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Queen, 80s music, oldies, Leontyne Price, Dolora Zajick, Shirley Verrett, Montserrat Caballé, Simon Keenlyside, etc.

Food: I love chinese food. I've recently discovered that I like sushi. I usually eat a turkey sandwich for at least one meal every day.

On most Fridays I am either going out with my roommate and some other friends or sitting around watching movies or tv shows on DVD

The idea of meeting someone online has always seemed very strange to me. But I have decided to step out of my comfort zone as it were because I am tired of being alone. I have never really been with anyone in that regard.
