I am melodramatic, comedic, and logical.

My Self-Summary

The next exciting iteration of my profile!

I don't take life too seriously. I don't relate to people as well as I need sometimes. I do think everyone has it in them to do something great with themselves, and with others. My sense of humour probably relies too much on in-jokes and a broad level of knowledge - sadly it's not always spot on (kind of like a scud missile). I'm slowly getting more interested in 'adventure' sports and finding them a hell of alot of fun. Adrenaline junkie status reached - I need to knock it up another notch now. Bam!

What I’m doing with my life

I'm now a 'suit' working for 'the man' and using 'quotations' to make my point. I've decided to start doing something adventuresq every month (like diving, skydiving, rockclimbing) for a laugh/something to do, as I have all this money to burn now. Anyone want to come along? My leave will be solely dedicated to travel now.

Update: Have accomplished diving, skydiving, rockclimbing so far. What next? Any ideas? Message me if you've got some!

I'm aiming to dine with the Queen the next time she comes to Australia. If she doesn't keel over from old age first. In which case I'll have to dine with His Highness instead - do we have to remint coins straight away when the old lady kicks the bucket? Or is there an allowed grace period for the coins?

My interests currently extend, but are in no way limited to: gaming, just runnign to keep fit, reading, wasting time on the interblagosphere, tabletop world domination board games, rockclimbing, scuba diving, skiing, occasional travel, eroding people's sanity and then restoring it through long, random conversations.

I’m really good at

Skiing, anything involving computers, riling people up about anything and everything, telling crap jokes, listening, investigating. Quiz shows - I have a speciality in useless facts, but only ones I've been alive for.

Currently learning to play the bass guitar so I can go on tour and become a world famous rock star (haha). I should probably practice more often.

I also have a pretty good head for science (it's nice and large so they doctors can do experiements on it easily)

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes, I think. I'm not sure why, but I get comments on them often. Possibly becuase they're actually green, not just green on a fine day with good light and a strong tail wind.

Otherwise, apparantly I look like Steve Carrell. I don't beleive that's true - you be the judge.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A) George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, Harry Potter, books by Matthew Reilly, Joe Buff and Gary Larson (though it's not a book, the comics are hilarious). Throw in random selections from every other category under the sun and that's about what I read.

B) A Death at a Funeral, the original Star Wars movies, anything actiony and or comedic! I'm generally not that fussy, although I'm not really that into horror/kill the teenagers off one by one kind of movies (mainly because I think I'd be the first to go in that situation)

C) Powderfinger, Eskimo Joe, The Whitlams, Muse, Placebo, Something for Kate, Garbage, 'techno' music, Richard Cheese, Pendulum, Damien Rice, Tiesto, BT before he went and did all that terrible hip-hop stuff, Alex Lloyd, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Doves, Birds of Tokyo, Armin van Buuren and onwards we go.

D) Homemade pizza, chocolate, icecream, sushi. Eggs Benedict is probably the best thing you can have for breakfast, but I'm having trouble finding a place that does it well. For the most part I'll eat uh, anything.

The six things I could never do without

Snow.
My iPod.
Myself.
Friends.
Sharks with Lazer Beams.
Someone fun to talk to.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

http://xkcd.com

Also: sleep, lists such as this one, my place in this strange world, other people's place, politics, the LIBERAL MEDIA BIAS, new and exciting ways to injure myself, my next holiday destination.

On a typical Friday night I am

Working, playing games, watching a movie, playing guitar, exercising (or trying to motivate myself to go and exercise, which is just as much work) or going out with friends.
Or I'll be off on my next adventure.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I occasionally regress and become a socially awkward chicken. They have drugs for that though (if they don't, I have no idea what these pills are that my friends are feeding me).

Oh, and I can solve a Rubik's Cube. It earned me a bartab, so cop that if you were going to laugh!

You should message me if

If you share any of the interests I've mentioned above, then go ahead and message me right now. Yes, right now. Even if it's tangental. Even if it's to tell me my music choice sucks (it totally does not.)
