I am originally from Western Pennsylvania close to Pittsburgh but I
have lived a few places. If you really want to get to know me, here
is a novel idea: ask me. I will be happy to tell you.
In addition, I am more of a phone and in person conversation type.
I don't mind talking online at first but after there is a certain
level of connection made, I prefer to move away from being
connected to a computer by the hip :)
Now that I have made my peace and disheartened probably half the

My self-summary
What I'm doing with my life
I am in a limbo place in my life. I graduated with a B.S. Degree in
Psychology from Penn State University a little over two years and
am now a graduate student at Teacher's College at Columbia
University. I just finished my Master's of Art in Psychological
Counseling and I am currently pursuing a Master's of Education
in Psychological
Counseling. In addition, I will be certified as a Mental Health
Counselor in the State of New York. The best part is I am living in
the Upper West Side of Manhattan (in a private apartment right
across from the college)! In my spare time, I practice two forms of
Martial Arts: Tai
Chi and Aikido.
In addition, I love to play my trombone and dabble with the guitar. I also like to
read, go to live music
of almost every genre as much as possible, take both random and
planned road
trips and enjoy it when I getting lost on them with friends,
and enjoy ridiculous times and insane conversations with my friends
and new people I meet in my travels.
I'm really good at
playing music, making people laugh, listening to and understanding
other people's problems, showing people the beauty in the everyday
things of life

A) Breakfast of Champions and other books by Kurt Vonnegut; Lord of the Rings,
the Chronicles of Narnia, 1984, A Clockwork Orange, Stumbling on
Happiness, the Road Less Traveled, and others that I can't think of
right now. B) A Beautiful Mind, What Dreams May Come, Donne Darko,
School of Rock, the Waterboy, Little Nicky, The Chronicles of
Riddick, Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer, the Terminal, Boondock
Saints, and many, many more. C) Everything but country (I will
listen to it if I have to). Trust me, the list of bands I like
covers a very broad music specturm. It is easier just to ask me. D)
If I had to pick one type of food, Italian. Otherwise, I like too
many different foods to list here and love to try any food once.
The six things I could never do without
music, close friends, family, my guitar, my compass, and my

my future, my present, my existence, and how to acheive
enlightenment
On a typical Friday night I am
There is rarely a typical night with me. I love the fact that
everyday is a little different because it makes me enjoy each day.
Probably the only typical part of my Friday nights is that I will
be doing something spectacularly splendid such as spending time
with friends listening to music in a jazz club or some type of
funky, chilled out place.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here
Hmmm...I have a ridiculously huge love of science and find myself
losing track of time whenever "the Universe" is on the history
channel. I used to be a physics major during my undergrad and did
well in it but realized it was more of a hobbie than a career. I
still read articles on string theory and quantum mechanics from
time to time.
