My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am currently working as a CNA in a memory care unit (I'm surprised they let me leave), a personal trainer (I especially love boxing training) and trying to get a nursing degree (started a BSN program in Jan. 2014). This doesn't leave a ton of room for dating, so im looking for another busy person. I love working in healthcare because of the difference you get to make in the lives of those that are generally in the greatest need. Money is great and all but nothing beats the smile of a a sick or injured patient, when you can get that you know you are doing something right.

I live a pretty low-key life. I am incredibly easy-going and go with the flow with most everything in life. I don't like to lie or manipulate people, I just can't see how the other person's suffering is justified by my immediate benefit. If I message you, you can be confident I have a genuine interest in getting to know who you are, if I compliment you, it's because I actually feel that way. Life is much easier when you are transparent with the people around you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
If I had a nickel for every time someone has asked me that...
I am a student by day, and a CNA by evening and Batman by night. I figure I can sleep when I'm dead (which, given the science, should be about two weeks).
I do a lot of woodworking, especially woodturning, other than that, looking for new friends and potentially a long term relationship in the future.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reading people and their emotions, working with my hands, finding creative solutions to any problems, shrugging off the worst in life. giving hugs, acting as a body pillow, making terrible puns that make people either laugh or stare at me with pity or both.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am told my smile gets noticed quickly, but no one really walks up to tell someone how ugly they are. If they talk to me, it is generally my dry sarcastic wit and my ability to find the humor or upside of any situation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I am a huge nerd for science books, books on understanding people, body language and behavior (comes in handy at work), and textbooks (for fun, which might indicate a serious mental illness, I'll find a book on it later) because I like being full of random knowledge.

Movies: I can watch almost anything, if it's good, I can sit there captivated and silent, if it's bad, there is nothing I love more than giving it the MST3K treatment. Favorites: the Die Hard movies for mindless action, Anchorman, Idiocracy, so many more for comedy, Sunshine, Alien and predator movies for sci-fi and I have no idea where it fits in, but Rocky Horror Picture Show can brighten any day (I don't care how weird it is, I love it). I will fill in more as I think of them.

Music: I love reggae, ska, old punk, classic rock, and much more. I have a hard time tolerating Taylor Swift or any country music, but there is some good stuff out there, too. Old bands like Rush (2112 especially, just so crazy), Reel big fish, the specials, Bob Marley, and the Toasters (if you have heard of them, huge points to you [points carry no cash value])

Food: I love spicy foods (capsaicin is addictive) especially buffalo wings, I am more than capable of making my own food and can cook a delicious meal if given the opportunity. It isn't just the way to a man's heart.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Pocket knife - I can MacGyver my way out of just about anything.
Milk - I can live off of the stuff
Sarcasm - I think it sustains me, if I go without it I will shrivel and die.
The smell of sawdust - Usually means I have accomplished something good
Hot sauce - Can fix any meal
Money - Because people keep demanding I give it to them in exchange for goods or services
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
New project ideas, fun places to travel to and new activities to try, what makes people tick, why we can't just all get along, what my dogs dream about
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either relaxing with friends and some nice beer, building something, or as of late I am usually working on Friday nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One time, I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.
