As it is, I'm kept fairly busy by school, so I'm looking for
someone to help me supplement my education with a bit of fun! :) I
love adventure, and I never turn down the opportunity to do
something awesome. I rock climb, bike (mountain and road), and do
the odd white water canoe trip. Spontaneous camping trips make
summer the best season. Bike trails littered with freshly fallen
leaves make autumn a close second. Seeking refuge from the cold in
bars and cafes in downtown TO is the only winter sport I do
regularly. Brilliant conversation complements the latter very well,
so join me, mebbe? :D
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a 3rd year automotive engineering student at UOIT. It keeps me
busy, y'know... I got some stuff going on. Real pencil behind the
During summers, I usually do some menial truck driving/delivery
work. It keeps me outside and physically active and reasonably well
paid, so I can't complain.
I'm looking to one day be doing incredibly interesting things that
I'll never be able to have dinner conversation about -- not for
confidentiality reasons, but rather because it'd bore my guests to
I’m really good at
Is not holding grudges a skill? I'm just naturally shit at it.
Legit skills, tho? Iunno, I'm pretty good with CAD software, but I
doubt that really factors into dating. Uhm, I can hold a
conversation with a potted plant (I've internet dated A LOT
before... this is DEFINITELY a worthwhile skill). And I have a
pretty good 2nd date track record, so perhaps I am good at first
impressions? Truth is, I'm pretty good at most things I do, but far
from great at anything in particular. Mebbe we can explore this
question together. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
My long hair, definitely. It looks good on me, so don't worry. 2nd
is the bump on my lip that I got from a biking accident, which
prevents my smile from being unbearably charming.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read a lot. I got a Kindle last year, and it revolutionized
reading for me.
Currently I'm working on the 5th book of the A Song of Ice and
Fire (AKA A Game of Thrones) series, 'tis pretty good.
I read a variety of authors... My favourites cover a variety of
genres. For satire, y'can't outdo Kurt Vonnegut. Lustings for some
magical reality are sated by Tom Robbins or Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Douglas Adams always delivers a good, quality laugh. Wake up hating
society? BAM. Chuch Palahnuik. And if you just want to sit and let
your heart melt, look no further than Leonard Cohen.

they don't have books, don't **** them."

TV Shows: (I like good TV.)
Dexter, A Game of Throne, Firefly, Community, Top Gear, Breaking
Bad, QI, Misfits, Doctor Who, Mythbusters, Futurama, etc.
Fight Club, V for Vendetta, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,
Serenity, REPO: The Genetic Opera, etc.
Top 40: I know half of them more than I'd like, and I like them
half as much as they deserve. (Assuming pop songs deserve to be
I'm always into good, wholesome rock music, and slip in and out of
R&B phases. I unashamedly crank that Soulja Boy.
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order...
- My family, friends
- Stimulating conversation
- Being in awesome shape
(And as a close seventh, my car and bicycles! <3)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Cars, and design in general. I get off on the stuff. I also think
of cool anime/graphic novel plots.
On a typical Friday night I am
These days? Doing homework! Bah.
Though I'd rather be out at a bar and flirt outrageously with the
waitress (or some other local talent with a beautiful smile). i.e.
I'm a guy; it's what we do. Gender roles and shit. Sue me, I'm

end of some seriously-fuckin-stimulating conversation, gimme a
