My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If a short plump toddler "Cupid" can depict romance, a website by that name should certainly work for me, right?

I consider myself a fun, attractive and sincere person. Not too sure how best to sell myself on such sites so I will say a few things in no particular order:

Born and raised in Bombay, I spent the other half of my life in USA for last 18 years.

I am a bonafide fitness enthusiast. I have been told I look younger than my age. Yeah I know. You have read this in a million profiles. I do. Your worry should be if I may be a Mr. Benjamin Button. Because that would be awkward if we grew old together, you know. :-)

Got my 15 minutes of fame when I got interviewed on a local bay area channel as a diet and fitness "expert" last year. Well it was 7 minutes to be precise. But it was awesome.

I have two things going on career wise. First, I am a senior executive at a NYC based company. As the head of the West Coast division and part of senior management, I am responsible for sales, operations, and shaping the strategy.

Second, I own a nutrition bar business that I recently launched. It stems from my passion in fitness and nutrition. I sincerely believe that this bar will change the landscape of nutrition bars. Search for Oorja Nutrition Bar on google.

Travel buff over here. Love traveling for exploration, mingling with locals, soaking in their fascinating cultures. My last trip was to Portugal few months ago.

I am a believer of empowering non-profits. I participate and launch my own initiatives from time to time.

For me, a key part of living is about savoring my "Now" moments. Whether they are good, bad, enjoyable or just waiting in line at the DMV office. Okay I am pushing it with the DMV thing, but you know what I mean. Speaking of enjoyable moments, I like comedy, movies, yapping over slow drawn sips of coffee/tea, hiking, charity, dancing, walking, wine tasting, eating (Anthony Bourdain anyone?), basketball.

I have sky dived solo several times. I have now steered into different areas of interest. But I can always appreciate a sense of exploration and a tendency to learn and have fun.

If what I have said resonates with you, I would love to hear from you.

Books - too many to list all of them. Some notable ones - Defending Jacob, Alchemist, The Detour, Blink, Outliers, Shiva Trilogy, The Prophet, Sleepwalk with me, Mercury Falls, Angels and Demons, Ask and It is Given, Black Swan, Fountainhead, Barrons newspaper, Any book on Haikus.

Movies - most of the well made ones. Love both Hollywood and Bollywood.

TED presentations, NPR.

TV - Arrested Development, Mad Men, Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Louis C.K.

Music - I used to be a DJ and still do part time gigs for charity. I have never restricted myself to a genre. My playlists could confound online stores that they would never be able to make a recommendation list.
