Your Notes
Edit your notesI am curious, enjoy hiking, and like videogames.
My Self-Summary
I studied 'digital animation', so why not go to some other country and just work there as a translator (perfect german!) or a graphic designer?
So, that's the plan! And I planned to check out okcupid to see if I could find people already living there.
Hobbies? Oh yes:
I enjoy cinema, bars&clubs, books, hiking, swimming, video editing & playing/making videogames, running, going to concerts, discussing world politics, music (I play keyboard)...
I just spent a ridicilous amount of money on the "FantasyFilmFest" Movie Festival in Hamburg, now I can live without cinema for several months... why not go to a bar with a live band instead? :)
What I’m doing with my life
I have just completed my degree, ask me again in a year!
I’m really good at
People say I cook really well. I enjoy cooking, so I hope they are right!
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I don't have particular books I'd call my favorite, I read a lot from all genres. Terry Pratchetts discworld, science books on gender mainstreaming, art books about computer graphics... I've even read Brigdet Jone's Diary. :) But I have a special interest: I enjoy reading old Science Fiction from the 60s (my father had many of these). I just love the contrast between seemingly advanced space technology, but computers that need to be fed with cardboard punchcards and give out information on printers only. A world with huge spaceships, but without cell phones. Laserguns, but no internet. Highly advanced airtube-systems to shoot paper messages from one point to another, but no emails. See what I mean? It gets me smiling all the time.
I'll write about movies some other time, I go to cinema a lot. But even there you'll find my interest in old scifi-stuff (you know 'forbidden planet'? So good!!).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
start a band and sing for world peace?
design a videogame about the war in chechenia?
travel to burma and beat up some soldiers? (probably not)
give me time, I'll think of something!
On a typical Friday night I am
or keeping my neighbours awake by playing noisy videogames with a bunch of friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
