I like long walks on the wild side. Do you?

I enjoy backpacking, skiing, climbing (ice, rock, alpine, etc.), biking, hiking, running, rafting, and hot tubs, especially after doing any of the previous activities! i've even worked as a raft guide for a summer. i also enjoy cars and motorcycles, anything i can work on and get a little dirty.

I'm pretty realistic and a nice guy, and I'm always looking for the positive moments in life. I could write more, but that would just spoil the fun of actually getting to know me.

(I know it looks cold in a lot of my photos with all the snow, but i enjoy beaches and warm weather just as much the high alpine and snow)

Colorado native originally from Denver, I graduated from CSU Fort Collins, and now I work as an engineer for a consulting firm in Denver. I travel a lot, up to the mountains as often as I can and extended trips when I can manage it. I also signed up for my first half marathon this summer, so i'll be doing some training for that. Its been a few years since i ran a timed race, and I'm shooting for 2hrs or less.

I recently have been writing articles and publishing some photos of mine in a travel magazine called trailgroove, so i guess that makes me a writer too.
