Trying to survive and enjoy it all at once. That can be a hard thing to balance.

I've never asked and nobody has ever told me.

Books: A lot. I always have a book checked out from the library they are great for breaks at work or when an unexpected event comes up that has me waiting around for a long time. Plus they are a lot cheaper than a smart phone plan. Haven't read any bad Charles Dickens though while reading the "Classics".
Movies: Almost anything as long as the story is good. If the movie was made to see how much gore can be put in, or to display some awesome special effects but has a dumb plot, I won't recomend it.
Show: I'll watch anything but nothing religiously. Without a DVR it's hard to keep up, with my schedule, and I don't like to fall behind. I did just sign up for Netflix so I may be able to catch up on a lot of things now. Before though, it was generally anything on the History channel or Discovery. I love mythbusters. Not that I don't like other things but you don't have to keep up with shows on those networks.
Music: Being a song writer I appreciate all music. And I mean all. I have quite the library on my I-Pod. The style I listen to mostly is rock though. From classic rock to metal and everything in between. Can't pick a favorite band though. Just too many good ones to narrow it down.
Food: I'll eat anything. As long as there is meat somewhere on the plate. Seriously though I'm not picky and I love most food. I will try anything once. Even a vegetarian or vegan dish. Newest cravings have definitly been centered around sushi.

The ability to hear. Lose that and you lose music and contact with most people.

Everything. My mind is like the worst channel surfer ever. That doesn't mean I can't focus on things, but if I have nothing to do my mind will race against itself. I like to keep occupied.
