I recently graduated from University with a BFA, focus painting/studio arts. Still looking for part time employment. I'm a crafter with a special fixation on knitting, woodwork, and alteration of found objects. I read, a lot, a whole lot. I write, a lot, though mostly journals.

I collect lawn gnomes and keep them in my bedroom. I carry a pink leopard print purse. Am addicted to playing grabber machines and crossword puzzles. I wear more bracelets than a modern day gypsy and generally have paint all over my clothes. I'm a hoarder, I love yard/garage sales and thrift stores and finding shiny things on the ground. I'm thrifty to a fault, I don't throw anything away that can be mended. If I don't know how to fix it I find out how and make a valiant attempt.

I'm very much a kid at heart and imagine I always will be. I do have an introspective side though I have a habit of approaching heavier subjects with an offhanded manner. Life is far too short to take too seriously. I occasionally come off as aggressive because I am not always the most shy of girls. I am not always so, just honest and forthright. Don't let me scare you off. ^.^

I'm a hardcore romantic which has lead to more heartbreak than anything else but alas,I watch a lovely thirties black and white film and fall for it all over again ;-)

I've lived in Kansas City, Missouri. LA, California. Now I'm in Minnesota. I own a lot of house slippers. From LA to Minnesota..... Every Christmas gift for three years included sox or house slippers. I'm a midwestern girl, born and raised, with a lot of the expected priorities. Family, manners, and respect.

In many ways I'm a contradiction. I wear my hair braided in pigtails and end up covered in paint and plaster one day and the next day put on the pinstripes, chains, and the big city gloss. I'm extremely changeable and enjoy the chaos of it. I consider myself a pseudo intellectual though I'm flightier than a butterfly half the time.

I am trying to get along, that's what I'm doing. Looking for part time work and selling art. I hope to seek a MFA in the future and land a college prof. job where I can encourage and support emerging artists.

I also plan on taking Italian with the hopes of visiting Sicily in the near future.

I'm hoping to get involved with community causes. The animal shelter mostly where I just got my cat Diesel, my beautiful boy.

I would like to think it's how I carry myself, my easy smile, or even my friendly demeanor or laugh.

Most likely, it'll be the pink leopard print purse, the mismatched sox, or whatever else to do with my wardrobe that I didn't bother to think out.

Books/Authors- Tanith Lee, Stephen King, Guy de Mauppasant, Shakespeare, it's actually a rather long list..... I like horror, fantasy, sci-fi, tacky romance novels, historical fiction, and cultural works of any sort.

Movies- Clockwork Orange, The Mirror Mask, Anything with a darker twist. Anything with zombies. Musicals. Any film from the thirties.

Music- A load of local L.A. bands top my list. Andrew Paul Woodworth, Violet Kiss, Ballentine, Heather Ballentine, Jeddrah. The Piper Downs. I enjoy classic punk, classic rock, oldies, classical music, some pop/hip hop. I am not a huge country fan though there are some songs I can go for.

Food- Pepperoni Pizza and anything related to it. It's my one weakness, beyond that I'm normally a bit of a health nut. Fruit/Veggies/Chicken

At home knitting, with my cat. That's right. Young and already on that road. Actually, I prefer dancing on Thursdays. Less of a crowd and fewer cruddy bands.

I don't have anything in my closet. That is to say, I don't often if ever feel shame so the question is a wee little bit irrelevant.
