My self-summary Propose an edit

I spend a fair amount of time on the fence, in fact I've got a permanent recliner there. I find myself reading between the lines more than the lines themselves. I giggle frequently and tend to look for the absurdity that seems to be everywhere. I'm an introspective extrovert that is fascinated by the funny things people do. I don't believe in perfection but will always be on a path of self improvement. I talk about everything and believe humility is the best trait in a person. I am annoyed by non-conforming conformists, you know-the people that spend hours getting dressed and tons of money to look like they just happened to find that uber-trendy outfit in the dumpster. I am equally impressed by good fashion though, which is of course subjective.

While I've got healthy routines, I am really looking to add some spontaneity and unpredictability to my world. I am creative in a round about way, not the obvious artist type that spends the days conflicted about whether or not they should make music, paint, or write a book...although I have deep appreciation for all art and its creation.

I'm a bit of a dork and have a really hard time filling these things out.

Some music: Cocorosie, Sigur Ros, Helio Sequence, Kevin Drew, Bright Eyes, Broken Social Scene, Portishead, Blonde Redhead, Pixies, Breeders, Arcade Fire, Decemberists, The Clientele, Jeff Buckley, Cut Chemist, Meat Beat Manifesto, The Love x Nowhere, Beirut, Devendra Banhart, Neko Case, Olivia Tremor Control, The National, Shearwater, Fleet Foxes, Modest Mouse, Beck, Kristen Hersh, Sonic Youth, RHCP, Pavement, The Flaming Lips, Radiohead, Spoon, etc. etc. etc.
Books: mostly nonfiction and work related but recently: Devil in a White City, Under the Banner of Heaven, Scar Tissue, Dream Brother, Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil. Nonfiction makes up most of what I read so Jon Krakauer, David Sedaris are staples for pure entertainment when I can afford the time.
Foods: Bananas every day, but am a fan of Thai, Indian, and Meditteranean. My food philosophy is that the less it's messed with, the better it tends to be.
