I am a greatest, american, and hero.

My Self-Summary

I'm mostly interested in things like books, movies, guns, and music. Generally in that order. I also enjoy cooking, writing, playing with my cat, painting, the internet, engaging conversation, and whatever else you hip kids are interested in.

Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world.

What I’m doing with my life

I just moved to Dallas last year, so I'm working on figuring this city out.

By day I'm an Operations Admin, by night I solve crime with my wise cracking cat sidekick.

I’m really good at

I am awesome and therefore awesome at everything.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm short and hard like a body building elf.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I eschew the modern trend of RomComs and KIIS FM that tends to plague the All American early 20's female. Also I read. A lot. No, seriously. I have read 35 books this year.

A) Dark Tower series and pretty much anything by Stephen King. I also like Chuck Palahniuk, Peter Straub, Bentley Little, Jonathon Kellerman, Piers Anthony-Incarnations of Immortality series, I don't like his other fantasy stuff. Lovecraft, Richard Matheson, Bret Easton Ellis, William S Burroughs, Frank Miller, David Sedaris, Michael Baden,Dr. Bill Bass, Mary Roach, Zombie Survival Guide, Comic Books because I'm a nerd.

Anything Horror/thriller/mystery/medical related really. I love true crime books and forensic novels. I also am in love with books about the end of the world. This includes of course books about Zombies.

B) Zombie movies or Horror in general. I'm a huge horror/gore/exploitation/shock fan. Love Fulci and Romero. Here are some examples of my favorites:
Horror: Night/Dawn/Day/Land of the Living Dead,[Rec], Zombi 2, Nightmare on Elm Street Series, American Psycho, Dead Alive, Cannibal Holocaust, Eraserhead, Seven, Battle Royale, Suicide Club, All of the Texas Chainsaw movies, The Mist, 1408
Drama: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, American Splendor, LOTR Trilogy, Pi, The Big Lebowski, Fear and Loathing, The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects,
Comedy: (Dark or otherwise) Happiness, 4 rooms, Grosse Point Blank, LA Story, Superbad, 40 Year Old Virgin, Tremors, Superbad, Knocked Up, Burn After Reading,
Thriller: Sin City, 8mm, Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, American History X, 12 monkeys, Blade Runner, Dark City, The Stand,Equilibrium, and countless others. I watch a lot of movies and with the exception of most Romantic Comedies I can pretty much enjoy anything.

C) 80's hair bands, Bon Jovi, The Cure, Joy Division, Jefferson Starship, Bruce 'The Boss' Springsteen,GNR,Rolling Stones,Tears for Fears,
Ben Folds, Damien Rice, The Who, FOREIGNER, Journey, Queen, pretty much all 80's music, Joshua Radin, Glen Hansard,William Shatner (yes), Johnny Cash, classic rock, grunge, Outlaw
Country (think old school) and sometimes I listen to Rap for the novelty factor.

I don't watch a lot of TV but Lost, Dexter, House MD, Scrubs, Six Feet Under, The Office, Sopranos, Pushing Daisies,Dexter, 30 Rock, Californication, and Heroes are some of my favorites.

D) Italian, Mexican. I can cook a mean chicken and have perfected the art of pasta. (Ha!) Cheese can make any meal better, as can lemon
seasoning! I love to cook and making dinner is something I actually enjoy doing for people.

The six things I could never do without

There are plenty of things I could never live without.

Here are six things that I could (and do!) live without.

Avocados, any movie with Meg Ryan, Carrie Underwood, American Idol, Romance Novels, and Orange Juice (I really don't like orange juice)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How we have to end apartheid for one. And slow down the nuclear arms race, stop terrorism and world hunger. We have to provide food and shelter for the homeless, and oppose racial discrimination and promote civil rights, while also promoting equal rights for women. We have to encourage a return to traditional moral values. Most importantly, we have to promote general social concern and less materialism in young people.

But mostly cats.

On a typical Friday night I am

Being a nerd.

Usually either at home reading, catching a movie, hanging out with friends, people watching, or surfing the internet. If not that, you can likely find me at my favorite redneck karaoke bar in DeSoto. It's hilariously awesome to go there and people watch.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Sometimes I listen to the song 'Dancing Queen' by ABBA. On purpose. And I like it. Also I sing Tom Jones songs to my cat.

Also, FUCK SALT.

I enjoy the William Shatner album Has Been.

I don't have a car, but I am an expert at public transport. Just doing my part to save the rainforest. Or the polar bears? Save something.

You should message me if

I can get along with most people, so just assume that I want to talk to you.

You have an awesome place (whether it be restaurant, museum, theater, ice cream parlor, whathaveyou) in Dallas to recommend.
