My Self-Summary

I love fun. Lots. I also like dancing in the car and extended metaphors. I’m not usually in one place for too long. I thrive off of short trips to fun places and long trips to exotic places. I’m interested in psychology and gender identity. I’m applying to clinical PhD programs in Psych with a concentration in gender identity now. I either need to be productive or having fun. Therefore, my favorite people in the world are productively fun.

What I’m doing with my life

Taking a detour...
I graduated from Clark University in MA with a degree in psychology and some other stuff. Now I'm enjoying some time off. I'm staying in DE for a year before going back to school for phd in psych.
While in DE, I spend my time talking people back from ledges as a suicide/rape counselor and serving food at a country club.
oh, and fun... i also have fun.

I’m really good at

adventures. thoughts. banter. picking a dance to go with a song. cooking food filled with love. drinking. asking questions. putting together outfits (that i tend to wear for two or three days in a row). getting lots of things done in one day. finding fun anywhere. research. playing with my friends. and some other things.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Well, my "area of foucs" in psychology is gender identity and I recently worked on a year long project about gender identity in the context of same-sex relationships. I tend to bring gender up frequently. It's almost annoying to those around me.

I mostly think about thoughts. If that makes sense to you, this could work out.

On a typical Friday night I am

Either out with friends at a small bar or working the night shift at a suicide/rape crisis hotline. No matter what, I can be found doing SOMETHING. I wouldn't be alone at home or sleeping. (in a fight between sleep and fun, sleep never ever wins. ever.)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I actually enjoy answering those question things on here. At first I was uncomfortable with the lack of explanation. I didn't want to pick just one answer because many thing are situational. Then i decided it was a good thing to have to just stop reading too much into it and pick a fucking yes or no.
Ha, this is a really good example of how much thought I can put into something as simple as "chocolate or vanilla."
