Well, for starters I have a love for writing. I will write almost anything that comes to mind during that period in the morning other writers sometimes refer to as the morning pages. Mostly it tends to be bits of fiction or philosophical rants but someday it might lead to more.

I also am a hobbyist photographer and am just loving my new kit. I've taken an interest in street photography and need to find more time out of my weekly schedule to do that.

I like to draw though must admit I am out of practice so lately have been limiting any drawing to digital sketches using a tablet in conjunction with other visual projects.

As a person I am a shy extrovert if that makes any sense to anyone. I stand for gender equality and empowerment and believe that the world would be better off if it could re-evaluate its notions of gender roles. I love people who prove themselves to be caring and kind to others and who also embrace diversity in all its forms.

Oh an most importantly, I am a proud geek grrrl.

Well, I work a lot but try to spend my time enjoying the company of friends both online and in person.

Well, could it be the big hairy zit in the middle of my face? Well, if I had one that would probaby be THE first thing someone notices.

Honestly, if I pointed to anything physical then would that make its way prominently in a pickup line? Probably.

If I were to pick one physical feature then it would be my eyes as they get the most comment. I also get from people that I look much younger than I am.

Outside of the physical, most say I am intelligent and have a lot of empathy.

Books:
Sci-fi and fantasy novels primarily. Jim Butcher, Larry Niven, and David Brin are favorite authors. Currently reading the Meredith Gentry novels by Laurel K. Hamilton.

Movies:
I like many genres but especially like Sci Fi, Fantasy, Romantic Comedies and Anime. Slasher flicks and horror are not for me.

Music:
Hmm... Foo Fighters, Evanescence, Tokio Hotel, Loreena McKennitt, Three Days Grace, Three Doors Down, Pearl Jam, AFI, Nickelback, Death Cab for Cutie, Hootie & the Blowfish, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Blink 182, Gaslight Anthem, Coldplay, Paramore, Regina Spektor, Seven Mary Three, The Airborne Toxic Event, Sara Bareilles, Silversun Pickups, Greenday, Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, the Cranberries, B-52's, etc...

Food:
I have an open mind about trying new foods. My favorites, however, are Thai food and seafood. I do not like pizza or many other melted cheese dishes and will not willingly eat bell peppers.

Health, liberty, happiness, self-acceptance, the support of friends, and my family.

I find androgyny really sexy.

I must admit, I do not respond to most random messages. It is a rare one that compels me to respond and often I am not consistent about checking for new messages.
