My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's start here. "Hello. My name is Mike." I wish I could change my username without being on some so-called A-list, but oh well. You can ask me about my username if we chat.

Overall, I'm just going to say that I'm a pretty mellow guy. I don't drink, party, or do drugs of any kind. If the opportunity arises, I almost never say no to going out and doing something - whether it's just to take a little random drive or to the mall to window shop. If the weather is nice, I would love a nice walk.

I'm not much of a "guy's guy". I couldn't care less about sports; I'm not into cars; I'm not muscular; and quite frankly, I'm not that tall - though 5'8" isn't terrible.

I am not into piercings or tattoos on myself - but if I were to EVER get one tattoo for my entire life, it would be a black and green symbol that that is used by the Devin Townsend Project. The colors are to signify my love of Type O Negative (RIP Peter Steele) and the symbol is directly from the mind of Devin Townsend, music genius incarnate. In terms of tattoos on girls - well, there is such thing as too much, but it would have to be like Kat Von D too much.

I should mention here that due to a medical condition, I cannot ingest alcohol. It'll likely kill me. So going out to bars is not at all something that I would be terribly interested in doing. I mean, I don't mind tagging along with a friend once in a blue moon if nothing else is going on, but it's not a real source of entertainment in my book.

In my spare time, when I'm not working ad just chillaxing at home, I'm either cruising the net or watching movies. I'm a HUGE movie buff, I am always up to watch practically anything.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, my main focus in life is to pay off my student debt....I estimate, if all goes well (knock on wood) I will be debt free by the end of this year. But wait, let's back up. I graduated from college back in 2008. Took me a whole year to finally find a job that was better than working retail (at Toys R Us no less....), and I ended up being hired as a bank teller in 2009. After realizing after three years that my Marketing degree has gotten me absolutely nowhere, I enrolled for Paralegal Studies at FDU, which I completed back in May. Nothing has happened with that either, and I've come to the realization that the smart thing to do would be to stay with the bank. I was recently promoted to lead teller, so I should just stick with the career path.

Pretty soon I can start saving up to move out. I'm still living with my parents, yes, but as an only child it's really not something I look down upon. I've been extremely lucky and grateful for all my parents have done (and continue to do) for me, but within the next couple years, it's time to leave the nest.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Organization - organizing books, CDs, what have you. Everything has to have its proper place. I am a tad bit OCD about this sort of thing, but it doesn't run my life.

Making people laugh - I make constant back- or off-handed comments at work to keep the smiles going. Of course, only the right people are allowed to hear them.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This is a hard one to answer! Um...that I'm pale and mildly thin? Oh, I know - the fact that if I shave, people tend to think I'm 18 or 19. I still get carded when I play the lottery - oh and I don't gamble, I just play the lottery for my parents sometimes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
BOOKS - Franz Kafka, Clive Barker, Robert Silverberg are all great authors I enjoy. I'm currently in the middle of an Ozzy Osbourne autobiography that is easily one of the most entertaining books I've ever read. Ever.

MOVIES - Oh. Don't get me started. Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Clerks, Clerks II, The Ruins, The Shawshank Redemption, the Terminator movies (Salvation bored me though), Shoot 'Em Up, Commando, Spaceballs, Silent Hill, Sweeney Todd, Enemy at the Gates, The Wrestler, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Quarantine....lots and lots more. Oh, and Rock of Ages is my current obsession.

FOOD - almost anything having to do with chicken and/or potatoes. I'm a fiend when it comes to chicken Caesar salads, and I just love a well-done burger.

MUSIC - everything from Kylie Minogue to Cannibal Corpse, Armin van Buuren to Ladytron, Slayer to She & Him, Dol Ammad to Kontrust, Fleshgod Apocalypse to Jessie J. As a general rule of thumb, I do not like rap, hip-hop, country or punk, but I may come across a very groups who are an exception (I do enjoy Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town). My eclectic taste in music is a HUGE part of my life, and I would like to find a girl who would be open to hearing new things or is simply into much just as much as I am - if not more! Do you want more name-dropping? Devin Townsend, Strapping Young Lad, Vas, Black Tape For a Blue Girl, Mira, Lovespirals, Oingo Boingo, Lily Allen, Arch Enemy, Equilibrium, Xandria, Type O Negative, Joydrop, Within Temptation, Lindsey Stirling, Powerman 5000, Portrait, Sentenced, Butthole Surfers, Nine Inch Nails, Covenant, VNV Nation, KMFDM, Krewella, Unsun, Metallica, Megadeth, Sonata Arctica, The Birthday Massacre, Zombie Girl, The Gathering, Arch Enemy, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood, Nightwish.......that's just an inch of the tip of the iceberg. It's UNREAL how many bands I enjoy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Music
2. Computer
3. Internet
4. NetFlix
5. My PlayStation 3 (for Netflix purposes, mainly!)
6. Friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The short-term future. Like, how nice it will be once I finally have my own apartment. What kind of a burden that'll be lifted once my student debt is paid off. What to dress up as for Halloween this (or next) year, how nice this Sunday is going to be for me just because I can sleep in....yeah, a lot of small, petty things. lol
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends or just watching a movie. Unless of course, the weather is nice, and gives us a good excuse just to go OUT somewhere. Even going out to eat is always a viable option. And most times, a walk out in Red Bank is the thing to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a slight obsession with anything Alice In Wonderland-related.
