My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
It's amazing how often the hardest thing someone can ask us to do is describe ourselves. I could talk for hours about the music I like or the video games I play or tell stories about my friends and family, but what do I say about myself?

I enjoy the company of others. I don't have a huge group of friends but I am close to those I have and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I also like to spend some time with my family and don't keep up with them nearly as much as I should. I'm always interested in making new friends but for some reason never really seem to meet new people. Even when just chilling or watching a movie or something, I prefer to do it with company rather than alone.

I love video games and tend to play in my free time. I'm mostly into RPG's but also enjoy adventure games, platformers, and recently have started to enjoy shooters more. Really I usually enjoy any video game with an interesting story and good game play. Playing with others is always fun but I also enjoy watching others play sometimes.

I try to be as self-sufficient as I can be. I have changed my own tire on the side of a highway. I change my own oil. When something breaks around the apartment I generally try to figure it out myself before asking for help. I like know how things work and how to do things so would rather figure something out for myself or be shown how to do it rather than just having someone do it for me.

I am apparently pretty damn good at starting sentences with "I". I'm also very aware at how egotistical and narcissistic that seems.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing with my life. I got it figured out a couple times but then somehow lost it. I managed to finish 2-year college and have an Associate's degree in Business Administration. Currently I work full time in retail management and live on my own. Being an adult is super expensive though and so I have plans to move in with a friend in a few months to try and save some money. I know I don't want to work retail for the rest of my life and I want to go back to school, but first I have to figure out what I want to study...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm usually a pretty good talker. I used to be very shy and introverted and had trouble making conversation. Eventually I forced myself to start opening up and to start talking to people. Now I can usually have a conversation with just about anyone.

I'm also a pro at singing whatever song is NOT currently playing on the radio as well as changing the station right in the middle of a song. Plus I'm so awesome at making too much pasta that it's pretty much a superpower. And "Too Much Pasta Man" has a good ring to it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People usually tend to notice my energy and positive attitude. I am naturally a very energetic person and approach all things with a lot of enthusiasm. I also make it a point to try and maintain a positive outlook on things and people usually see that in me.

Physically, people always seem to be drawn to my hair for some reason. No matter what I do with it, I will almost always have someone comment on it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Just recently got a Kindle so I'm seeking some great new books to sink into. It's been a while since I enjoyed a good reading streak so I'd like to find some new gems. I tend to love sci-fi/fantasy novels. My favorite book has to be The Giver. It's the book that got me into reading.

I don't generally stick to any one genre of films, usually just whatever looks good at the time. But my favorites all come from Studio Ghibli, with Spirited Away holding the number one spot in my heart!

I mostly only watch TV through Netflix. I like comedies and sitcoms like Scrubs and Glee. I was recently introduced to Doctor Who and Torchwood and I have fallen in love.

Like most people, I enjoy a pretty broad range of music. I love pop to showtunes to country. I'm really into punk and pop punk, though, and I love Spotify for constantly feeding me new artists. I have found some of my favorite bands through there, such as Marianas Trench, Junior Doctor, and Teen Hearts. I'm also a huge fan of YouTube artists like Sam Tsui, Alex Goot, and Max Schneider.

I really do enjoy trying new foods, but I am an ovo-lacto vegetarian and will only try foods I know are meat-free.

As for games, I tend to prefer RPG's and the amazing stories and characters that come with them. I also enjoy adventure/exploration games and platformers. I've recently started to get into shooters thanks to Bioshock. Generally, as long as it's fun, I can enjoy most games.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Video Games

Bonus #7: Coffee
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I want to do with my future, both short term and long. I spend a lot of timing trying to plan out what I want to do when over the next couple days, though things usually never go according to how I plan. I also like to think long term and set goals for myself down the road.

Lately, I've been thinking specifically about the things I want to be different in my life and how I'm gonna change those things. In particular, I'd like to figure out how to go back to school!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I often work on Friday nights, but if I'm not stuck at work then I'll probably be hitting up all my friends and seeing who wants to hang out. I love going out for drinks and karaoke and meeting a couple new faces while we're out. Or sometimes we may just pick someone's house and watch some movies and play some board games. If I can't find anyone to hang with, I usually entertain myself with some Netflix or video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have started writing at least 20 different novels throughout my life. Every single one had a completely thought out plot in my head with rich storyline and amazingly complex characters. But in the process of trying to put these stories into words I have abandoned every single one. One of my life goals is to actually finish one before I die, even if I never try to get it published.

You have more to say than "Hey, what's up." or any iteration of such.

Honestly what I probably need more than anything right now is just some more friends, someone to hang out with now and then. So if you think we'd get along, feel free to start a conversation.
