I've always been an avid advocate for local business and now I get to give back by running a restaurant right there on Clark. Ask me if it's in Andersonville...

I'm living life with the wise words of John Lennon in mind, "Life is what happens while you are making other plans."

Music therapy is my passion; restaurant management pays my bills. I'm building my resume, I like to call it. Taking some continuing education classes this August and September to keep my professional points up in the music therapy field so my board certification does not expire.

I'm super excited to be a part of my community. Catch me at HopLeaf or Lady Gregory's, Acre or Ombra. Looking forward to leaving my car parked and walking to work! YYYyyyess! That being said, I love having a car in the city because I'm a social butterfly and I like floating around wherever I please. Wicker Park, Bucktown, Logan Square and Lincoln Square are all wonderful neighborhoods. A cruise along Lake Shore Drive is my medicine.

...the present. I don't want to get too worked up about being away from music therapy. I used to get down on myself for being unable to/unsuccessful at landing a career that paired with my diploma. I live in the moment. I can't have regrets! (Madonna doesn't, why should I?) And hey! I'm pretty good at this management thing, so I'm gunna run with it!

I know what I like and I'm open to change.

...the future. It's imperative to set goals. I'm still searching for a way to take some guitar lessons. Any teachers out there? ;)
My future will involve a very independent fellow that will support me in my search for happiness and stability. And I'd like to be somebody's buddy, best friend, partner, lover all wrapped up in one.
