Well, a friend once called me "an eclectic study in contradictions", but aren't most of us? Perhaps my fundamental contradiction is the constant struggle between my idealistic inner-musician and my realistic inner-scientist (I actually have a degree in each, as well as a degree in student loans...ba-doomp-ching! Paying 'em off is like pulling teeth, which I might just do--dental school, 2014?) Although I feel kinda tricked into studying science...I started off by prosecting human cadavers, but ended up trying to get worms to engage in coitus! *facepalm
I can be very uninhibited, outgoing--even goofy!--but I am generally introspective. I enjoy few things as much as a new idea or a new way to look at something. Challenge me with a new way of looking at something, and you'll engender my respect.
The people with whom I get along tend to be introspective and conscientious, while remaining open. I have a special attraction to people who approach ideas with nuance, and those who can "see from the other side".
