Growing up on the East Coast, my last job provided me an
opportunity to explore most of the country and the Pacific
Northwest was always my favorite. When a friend recommended me for
a job in the Seattle area, I jumped at the chance. I’m good at what
I do and considering a side consulting venture and perhaps taking
it full time in a year or two. Because I did travel extensively,
and knowing that I would eventually make the move out west, I chose
to maintain a single status during that time. Now that I’m in the
PNW and loving it, and traveling primarily for pleasure rather than
for work, I'm quite open to all new possibilities and
opportunities. I'm interested in meeting someone who shares similar
interests, while also willing to support each other's individual
pursuits. There is so much to do and see here from hiking and
biking the numerous trails to kayaking the lakes and sampling great
wines and microbrews. After many years, a friend finally got me on
the slopes again and I think I’ve got that turning thing down. Now
I’m ready to go on a little more regular basis.
I’ve travelled a bit to Europe and South and Central America for
vacation/work and look forward to exploring them some more. I’ve
been to 43 of 50 states so am very interested in scratching the
other seven off the list someday. I love live music and like to
support local bands. I like to squeeze in some exercise during the
week, but I’m not a hard core marathoner or a 100 mile a day bike
rider. Kayaking and hiking are typically my exercises of choice.
Although I prefer my Levi’s, I’m just as comfortable at a formal
I don’t like to narrow my ‘wants’ in a partner. I do believe that
having a lot in common is important, but I’ve also found that
having some differences can bring new perspectives to a
relationship. In the end, I prefer someone who I believe makes me a
better person. I would hope that includes someone who is close to
family and friends as I am.
Most of my pictures were taken since 2013.
