I'm an english guy living in melbourne, yes thats "whinging pommy" to you aussies, I know ;)

I have been here 12 yrs now and don't look like leaving anytime soon.

I am always active, and have more interests than I can list without wearing out my comma key but mostly I enjoy my flying, playing soccer, playing guitar, good food (home cooked or eating out) and movies.

I'm a very straight shooting, honest and genuine guy and, though I can be quite shy and introverted I am yet quite extroverted, loud and outgoing.

What I’m doing with my life

I am working in IT working on web based learning projects for a major melbourne university. At the same time I am working on my commercial pilots license with the aim to change career once the industry recovers.

I am a very capable and fit football (soccer) player for my age.

Whipping up a storm in the kitchen and when the dust settles a fantastic dinner is revealed...

On the rare occasions when the dust settles and a charred and smoking mess is revealed I am very good at finding a damned good restaurant to make up for it...

The first things people usually notice about me

My accent, being an englishman and all. After that I would guess my sense of humour and my genuine and honest nature.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love historical books where characters are put into famous moments in history and the story is told through their eyes...

I am picky about music... as a musician (I play electric guitar) I appreciate real musicianship and creativeness.

I love movies but could not choose one favourite. I love both big action and adventure movies, good comedies - though I am not a fan of "silly" humour as much as I am clever comedies. If I am with the right company I don't mind "chick flicks" but you won't catch me watching romantic comedies without a date to share it with - must be a guy thing hehehe.

The six things I could never do without

A guitar - it's my creative outlet
My ability to play football (soccer), I dread the day coming when I have to 'hang up my boots'.
The internet - it's key to my keeping in touch with friends from home etc.
