My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Alrighty, here, let me see what I can say about myself: I am kind of abstract. I would have to say that my life tends to revolve around the arts. I love my guitar and my bike, tattoo art and singing. Steampunk intrigues me and I have a borderline compulsive disorder about collecting DVDs of movies I love.

I majored in International Studies and Economics, which I really ought to finish up, but I suppose I've been overly distracted trying to figure out who I am these last few years. I'm pretty good around a kitchen, but I'm amazing around a BBQ. I like to listen to some grunge, country, heavy metal, and Zeppelin; always Zeppelin.

Anyways, I suppose I'm on here to find challenges, whether it be witty reparteé or new experiences. If that's your bag, then give me a holler.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently, I am switching off between repairing the motorcycle, watching DVDs, and making food, how about yourself?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Well, I really like to laugh, but I'm really good at a few things:

Making one of the best tri-tips or pork loins you have ever tasted.
Wearing a suit.
Impersonating hobbits.
Making beer.
Mixing drinks.
Understanding and comprehending the history and principles of globalization and music piracy.
Looking cute with a slight twist of ruggedly handsome.
And self-deprecating, dry sarcasm.

Is it weird to like making beer or drinks more than consuming them? It seems to go against what college taught me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Depending on the situation, that I am either really shy or that I'm just a zipping ball of energy.

Books: anything by Stevent Brust, Terry Pratchett, or Chris or J.R.R. Tolkien - I also enjoyed the Camulod Chronicles (Jack Whyte), the Nightangel series (Brent Weeks), the Honorverse (David Weber), most everything by Peter Beresford Ellis, "Economics Does Not Lie" by Guy Sorman, "Destiny Disrupted" by Tamim Ansary...I'm a huge book nerd. Lots of fantasy, mythology, history, and globablization.

Movies: my favorites are Boondock Saints I and II and the 13th Warrior, but I have a huge and eclectic taste in movies...Brazil, Dr. Strangelove, Mel Brooks and Monty Python, Le Pacte des Lupes, Seven Samurai, Highlander, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Jay and Silent Bob, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Crowley, Zombieland, Star Trek...

Shows: Scrubs, Bones, NCIS, Metalocalypse, Venture Bros, the Boondocks, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, Samurai Seven, River Monsters, the Black Donnellys...

Music: oh dear gods - this is going to take forever...Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Children of Bodom, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, the Melvins, Failure, Weezer (pre-Green Album), Nerf Herder, Ozma, Alabama, Lynyrd Skynerd, The Allman Brothers, Boston, Queen, the Scorpions, Def Leppard, Guns and Roses, Dream Evil, Norther, Iced Earth, Helloween, Zakk Wylde, Gus G, Satriani/Johnson/Malmsteen/Vai, Talib Kweli, Edo G, AC/DC, Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, Garth Brooks, Tsunami Bomb, Useless ID, Robert Johnson, Lynzie Kent, Pride and Glory, Hank III, Shooter Jennings, Hellbound Glory, Mad Caddies, Reel Big Fish, Outkast, Wyclef Jean, Igor Stravinski, Herb Alpert, Bobby Shew, Wynton Marsalis, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Tommy goes on and on

Food: I love eggs benedict, and always seek out a recipe that is better than my family's (haven't found one yet), tri-tip, ribeye, garlic bread, Bordanavi's Sourdough, San Luis Sourdough, Columbus Italian Dry Salami, Raspberries, Sylvester's, Buona Tavola, DePalo and Sons, Fatte's, Joe's (in San Rafael), zucchini, pepper jack, cheddar, tortilla's, Efron's, carne asada, sausages and wursts...

Anything and everything, especially music, food, and the meaning of life; or 42 if I'm feeling quirky.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching a movie, typically one that is both horrible and classic, BBQing something or other, relaxing, and wondering what the weekend will bring.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I write songs about people? I don't know - just ask - I'm a pretty open person.
