My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love music, theater, and the arts in general. Luckily, I get to do what I love for a living. Originally from Philadelphia, it took me a couple of years to lose my accent after moving to LA many years ago. I love LA (just like the song). I accidentally give impromptu tours of Hollywood, pointing out the historical sites of the early days of movies and the music business.

I sing spontaneously. Its an expression of happiness, and although I'm no Pavarotti, I was a singer in a successful yet silly rock band in the early 90's. (I was also the A&R exec and signed myself!). I possess a virtually unused bachelor's degree in Biology (although no one has ever asked to see it), and I still love to learn a little bit about everything. I'm a long time jogger, but I don't find a lot of time to do it much currently. I like to stay in great shape (but I'm not a fanatic). I'm exceptionally funny. Seriously funny. Prove it? ;)

I was born and raised Jewish, and duly Bar Mitzvah'd....but I practiced, got good, then retired. I'm mostly only jewish by food now (I really do love gefilte fish. I even recorded a song about it).

I love to cook...I love old, classic Broadway musicals...I hate (watching) sports...and yet I'd say I'm a manly man with a nice deep voice. I'm an extrovert with manners. I have boundless energy. I love sleeping but I love the night too much to go to bed early. I seek flavor in all things in life, and I like to try out as much as I can. Don't you?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Tasting it all. Going by most of your photos it seems like I'm really missing out on a lot of trips to Machu Picchu and The Coliseum.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking. Fixing stuff. Patience. Kissing. Making people feel comfortable. Making people laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me

My un-shyness. Large lips. (btw, it's not mandatory to answer this question with "my eyes" Just saying.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: A Clockwork Orange, Catch-22, Devil in the White City, Harpo Speaks, Yes I Can, Finnegans Wake (that last one is an untruth)

Movies: Annie Hall, Holy Grail, Raising Arizona, Wizard of Oz, RHPS, Young Frankenstein, Harold & Maude, The Godfather, The Music Man, Tommy, The Graduate, West Side Story, Citizen Kane, Dr. Strangelove.

TV: SNL '75-'79, Breaking Bad, Deadliest Catch, Soap, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, any (non-military) history and science shows.

Music: I worked at Tower Records on Sunset in the late 80s and met everyone. Yes, it was quite awesome. I got to meet Michael Jackson, Ella Fitzgerald, Willie Dixon, Ringo, Tom Petty, Harry Nilsson, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, David Bowie, Prince (he played my guitar on Graffiti Bridge), Smokey Robinson, Robert Plant and so many more. I appreciate other genres, but I admit, I'm mostly a rock/pop fan: Beatles, XTC, Elvis Costello, The Jam, Jethro Tull, 70's Springsteen, Yes, Queen, Jane's Addiction, Sparks, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, Squeeze, Graham Parker, Psych Furs, Midnight Oil, Todd Rundgren, Robyn Hitchcock, Ramones, ELP, ELO, REM and all the other letters. Actually, this list would really have 300 artists on it. (ok, a couple new ones I like: Haim, Of Montreal, Cage The Elephant, and St. Vincent...there, ya happy? ;)

Food: Classic American Steak house, French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, and Japanese. Seafood is my favorite, and I exert a lot of willpower not to eat pastries.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I smell good. (it doesn't say a private BAD thing...just private). Also, why is everyone so coy with this answer? It says the most private thing you're WILLING to admit.

You like a smart, funny, fit, happy, secure, and nice guy...and you are the same (not the guy part tho). Also, if you happen to like my photos, I look just exactly like them (hopefully better actually).
