My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name's Kristen, I am a devout, Bible-believing Christian. God is the center of my life and is the first priority. A saving relationship with Christ is the primary quality I'm looking for. I'm not a "bible-thumper" yet I do not waver in my beliefs. I'm quite involved with my non-denominational church. I teach Pre-K Sunday School.

I'm a practical, witty, intelligent college graduate with lots of ideas and thoughts about what lies in store ahead. I like a challenge. I like details and I crave problem solving and puzzles. Sometimes I need to relax, take life for what it is, and see a rainbow or two. A guy that can make me laugh is valuable. Humor is truly a key. And don't worry, I can hold my own on the stand-up stage as well.

Overall, I'm independent, I can make decisions efficiently and trust my instincts. I don't let my emotions get in the way of thinking through situations and problems. I'm strong willed and speak my mind. Not to hurt or offend. Only to evoke understanding and stimulate conversation and thinking. I like to learn how you think and feel and react in life. I'm a big teaser. I like joking. A confident guy impresses me, however I'll be even more impressed if you're not afraid to throw some quick remarks back at me. I can take a joke too.

While I have my own hobbies and activities, I thoroughly enjoy exploring other people's interests! From online video games to outdoor activities to playing sports to all sorts of eclectic music. You name it, I'm willing to try it!

I'm also really just looking for some fun people to hang out with. I just moved back in the area since college and don't really have many friends around. If there's a connection, cool. If not, that's cool too! I have no expectations. Only hopes of entertainment and fun!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've gone through a couple changes! I recently moved to a new apartment, met some new good friends, started learning guitar and also shifted jobs a bit - helping out the family in our new energy consumer business. I work there full time now. I'm quite involved with my church. In addition to my full-time job, I work part-time as a piano teacher. I'm considering going back to school for more musical training. But I'm not sure yet.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Piano. I started playing at 3 years old and have taught piano for 7 years now. I work as a part-time piano teacher for a lesson studio.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of humor, my smile and my laugh. People say I have the most hillarious facial expressions. HA! I'll take their word for it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Bible, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Screwtape Letters (I'm a fan of C.S. Lewis), I'll be honest, my attention span for books is short these days haha

Movies: Horror/Suspense/Thriller movies, Comedies (Anchorman lol), some action flicks here and there, I'm not picky

Music: I can't live without Classical - Chopin, Beethoven, Dvorak, Ralph Vaughn Williams, Vivaldi, there's so many more... I like some Alternative here and there... BIG fan of Jeff Buckley... Rock - Damn Yankees, Kansas, Journey, Nirvana, Green Day, Alice in Chains, Metallica, The Scorpions... I like more of the hair bands and classic rock. Some R&B, Soft Rock (I know. Lame haha), Folk - Mumford and Sons, Ray LaMontaigne, Old 60s and 70s groups like the Monkees, Bread, Chicago, CCR... And I do like some country - Dont judge me. Hahaha. Josh Turner, Randy Travis, John Michael Montgomery, Shania Twain, Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, Kieth Urban, Dierks Bently, Rascal Flatts... Y'know.... I could go on and on, really I like just about anything... My favorite band of all time is Queen!

Food: Recently I've been trying a vegetarian diet. So far I love it. I'm exploring new foods and methods of cooking and I feel great! I'm really working on being more aware of where my food comes from and its effects on the body. It's great and I highly recommend it!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Jesus/God
2. playing piano
3. iPod/music
4. my car
5. my phone
6. money
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
(in no particular order?)

- goofy, made-up scenarios haha
- my friends
- animals
- what more I could be doing for God
- music
- my future
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
playing video games, I enjoy League of Legends.... started playing a couple months ago after a friend got me hooked on it! Watching all the tv shows I missed during the week, planning my weekend to-do list... see this is why I need people to hang out with! hahaha.

I would say I'm a pretty social person. When I was in college I used to do a lot more going out to clubs and stuff but I've mellowed out a bit over the years. I still like going out but prefer more focused activities versus large social scenes. I can do either though! I make it a point to have fun wherever we're going!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm afraid of the windmills & wind turbines <--- ridiculous, I know.
