I’m a quirky, artsy, 48 y/o Oregon native, the result of a union between a Methodist preacher and an artistic atheist. My formative years were quite interesting, as you might guess.
I discovered the guitar at the age of twelve and it quickly became my best friend, my teacher and a much-needed diversion from a fragmenting family. It also came in handy for a shy boy entering puberty. Music continues to hold an important place in my life and I write and record my songs, as well as play out as often as I can. I’m still trying to find a way to support myself musically, but it’s gotten even more challenging with the ease in which digital music can be shared.

I like to read, learn, hang out with friends, hike, create, write, cook, run, camp, work out and other things...
