My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have a boundless mind and an insatiable desire for adventure.

The older I get, the more I cry in movies.

Living in Astoria and Loving it more and more by the day.

Also, started running. My record is 8 miles in an hour and I'm ready for more!

Also, also I'm trying to cook more and drink (a little) less. You can track my progress at

Margaret Atwood is far and away my favorite author, I'm about half way through everything she's written with "The Blind Assasin" currently standing as my favorite by a slim margin. "Embassy Town" and "Roadside Picnic" make for some rocking Sci-Fi. Recently enjoyed "The Gargoyle" for some Romance. "Perfume" by Patrick Suskind blew my mind when I first read it. I also can't help but love "The Omnivore's Dilemma" and all the other food focused criticisms. And I definitely go in for all the fun YA stuff too (Percy Jackson anyone?)

Update: Just finished "MaddAddam" (hate to admit it was a bit of a let down) and "Ready Player One" (LOVED it!)

Update 2: Late to the game, but I just got into Hemingway via "Moveable Feast"

I hate reading/watching things more than once, but there are 3 movies that I could watch on loop without ever getting bored - The Devil Wears Prada, 300, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Special Shout out for the 10th Kingdom

Doctor Who + RuPaul's Drag Race are the only shows I'll fight to make room for in my schedule

Just started watching a show called "Lost Girl" Seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix. Message me to thank me once you're hooked

Update: There's something brutally wonderful about "Ink Master"

I'll eat anything. The weirder it is, the more interested I am in giving it a whirl.
