My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Cliff Notes:
Single, debt free, wears matching socks, loves dogs, loves to cook, loves writing awesome profiles

I was featured on the cover of Time magazine as their "Person of the year" in December 2006.

Restaurant and shark week are my favorite weeks.

Looking for a nice girl to date and bring to family events so they will stop asking questions. "Damnit Aunt Kathy...Yes I'm still single...these things take time."

I feel like I am a pretty down to earth kind of guy. I'm laid back and I try to not let things get to me. Sometimes you just have to be able to laugh at yourself. I'm happy where I am in life and I try to keep a positive outlook. I'm financially stable, I have a good idea of who I am and what I want, and I have goals that I'm working towards. I'm extremely grateful for what I have, and for those who helped me get here. My family is a huge part of my life. Holidays, vacations, and Sunday dinners are all very important to me. I would like to meet someone who values family as well and wants to be a part of mine just as much as I want to be a part of theirs.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an engineer, but don't worry, I have just enough social skills to be an enjoyable date. Besides my full time job, I coach the track team at my old high school. It's a great feeling to give back to my school and help kids along the way. However, knowing that this years students were being born while I was running track at their age is creeping me out a little bit.

I purchased a foreclosed home in the suburbs a few years ago, and I’m nearing the end of some pretty intense renovations that I’m doing on my own while living there. The whole experience has been like having my own HGTV show. "Next up on HGTV... Watch this single guy learn the wrong way to tile a back splash" Yes, that happened.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Quizzo/trivia nights. I've got 28 years of useless knowledge all up in this brain just waiting to win some prizes.

Pretending to know a lot about craft beers.

Making a wicked margarita.

Creating embarrassing works of art using Snapchat.

Fixing/Building/Maintaining things. Remember that awesome thing you found on Pintrest? I'm the kind of guy who likes to spend a Saturday helping you build it. Also, you know those annoying oil changes your car needs every so often? One of the perks of dating me…FREE OIL CHANGES! I’m like a loveable, huggable coupon book.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My extremely light blonde hair. People who cut it for me say I could make millions if I could bottle the color. I'll work on it in my spare time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
TV-The Walking Dead, Always Sunny, The Office, Parks & Recreation, How I Met Your Mother, Tosh.O, Boardwalk Empire, HGTV, Modern Family
MOVIES - I'm a sucker for dumb comedies. Step Brothers, Dumb & Dumber, Office Space, Tommy Boy etc.
MUSIC- My iPod has a little bit of everything on it. It really depends on my mood.
FOOD- Tex-Mex (my favorite), Italian, Indian, pretty much everything. My sister is vegan, so I have become pretty open to the vegan\vegetarian lifestyle.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
My car (my name should give it away)
Panera Cinnamon Bagels (drooling just typing this)
My laptop
Hoodie sweatshirts
Hot showers
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
New things I want to try. Restaurants, activities, vacation spots, etc. and how it would be so much more enjoyable to share these moments with someone special.

I'm borderline obsessed with getting a dog, but I can't decide what kind to get. I want one, but I've never had one and I'm terrified I will somehow screw up and have a dog that is constantly rolling their eyes at said screw ups.

What the color of the little light is on my message response button. I really try my best to return messages and start up a conversation.

Traveling. I get to travel for work, but so far it hasn't been anywhere interesting. I love putting work\daily life aside for awhile and going on an adventure.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
With the snowy season moving in I'm probably out snowboarding at an evening session after work. Otherwise, if I'm not at the gym, I'm a takeout and Netflix kind of guy. I'm not too into the bar scene unless I have someone or a group to go with.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was a little kid I used to watch a lot of Sesame Street. One day Big Bird was painting a picture. He looked at me and asked " What color should I use next? " I screamed " Yellow!". He chose yellow and for the longest time I thought people in the TV could hear me.

You eat, sleep and breathe AWESOME
and\or
You are nice person who values her family, loves to try new things, go on adventures, and doesn't take herself too seriously. I'm NOT looking for a quick date or some one night action.

If you think we might have a connection and would like to talk, please shoot me a message. I'm a sucker for cheesy icebreaker pickup lines. I.e. "How much does a polar bear weigh?
