I'm a big believer that you should enjoy what you do in life! I'm
attracted to different types of women, but the main things is that
they have an energy and spirit about them - I'm a sucker for a
great smile and good sense of humor. Ideally, I'd like to find a
woman with a good heart and a quick wit, a talented
conversationalist who occasionally finds herself accused of being
opinioniated. I enjoy people who are passionate about their
pursuits and interests even if they are different than mine. There
does need to be a physical chemistry and spark, for sure, but I
think that comes naturally. Basically I'm looking for someone who
loves life and helps me be my best self. Could that be you? :) Um
and apparently my profile used to say I'm skinny which sadly is
definitely not the case. Just noticed that when I added these last
couple of pictures.
I am hooking up words and, phrases, and clauses
What I’m doing with my life
Workin' in politics for the good guys of course :)
I’m really good at
I think I'm an okay poker player. I'm pretty analytical and can be
incisive. I have a mind for trivia.
The first things people usually notice about me
I dunno. Depends on the situation I guess. Perhaps it's my unusual
way of thinking about things sometimes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I usually can be found with exciting page turners about
gilded age presidents nobody can recall :) I read more non-fiction
Movies: A quick top 5 of sorts, though I'm flexible: (again in no
particular order) Manchurian Candidate (Sinatra please), Henry V
(Branagh please), Citizen Kane, Strange Brew, Groundhog Day.
Music: I love freeform WFMU and have a wide variety of musical
tastes. I like a lot of early 80s stuff, but also have Zappa and
Cornelius, and Young Fresh Fellows, and old ska and like a whole
bunch of other stuff. If it's good I like it. Btw, this is like a
totally unrepresentative sample.
Food: I can't call myself a foodie. I'm pretty basic. I like
Italian probably better than anything else I guess :)
The six things I could never do without
Hrm, this list is probably all wrong since ya don't know what got
'til its gone (or so goes the logic of a cheesy 80s song). Taking
most practical things off the table (family friends air etc) I
would say in no particular order: good bagels, wfmu radio, sports,
chocolate, game shows, and dang, don't make me choose between
colbert and stewart!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Hmm, lots of stuff. Probably what passes for detailed
communications these days.
On a typical Friday night I am
Kinda depends, could be out seeing a band in the city or checking
out a Devils game (when it's hockey season) or just hanging out at
Starbucks with friends. Poker sometimes as well.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My social security number is...but seriously if I admit it here,
it's not exactly private, now is it?
You should message me if
You would like to get to know me.
