I'm originally from Winnipeg, but I moved to Burnaby as of this past
June. Good move, I think.
I've been told I'm hilarious by all kinds of people including my
mom, so you know, it's gotta be true!
I like teaching myself to do different things. I taught myself to
draw and play
guitar and I'm
currently trying to teach myself how to sing. I've never been a big fan of taking
lessons and learning how I'm "supposed" to do things. I tend to
disagree with almost everyone who has "rules" in regards to things
that are primarily driven by creative forces.
I'm a pretty easy-going guy. I'll try anything at least once,
because why not, ya know? I don't really put too much of an
emphasis on what I'm doing so much as who I'm with. If I'm with a
person or a group of people that I enjoy spending time with, it's
not all that important what exactly we're doing.

My self-summary
What I'm doing with my life
Right now I work as a nanny. It's a cool job, and a lot of fun. The boys I work with
are really awesome and are able to put a smile on my face on some
of my worst days. When I'm not working I'm usually writing (songs, stories), drawing or playing guitar and singing. When I'm not doing those
things, I tend to play a lot of Rock Band with my younger brother
M0LECULO. I think
it may very well be one of the best video games ever. I play drums on that game.

I'm really good at
Drawing, playing guitar, and reading. I also have a lot of stamina. It
means I tend to win competitive type things simply by outlasting
anyone I'm competing against. This doesn't just apply to physical
stamina, but mental as well. I can commit myself to doing the most
inane, mundane, nonsensical things for longer than anyone else if
it means winning. I think this might be a form of psychosis... who
can say?
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me
My paleness. I
would think that how thin I am and my baldness would be up there as
well. Though I have to say, I'm a lot stronger than I look. I think
my body just builds itself really efficiently or something. Also,
I'm stunning!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
(a) Anything by Chuck Palahniuk or Irvine Welsh. Also,
anything by Jose
Saramago. They're supposed to be making a movie for Chuck's book Choke (which I love). Methinks it'll
be good, but not as good as Fight Club. But that's a hard one to
top. Also, they made a movie of Jose Saramago's "Blindness". I have
heard nothing about it yet, but I wanna see it. I wonder why they
haven't made anymore movies out of Irvine Welsh's books? Strange...
I've always loved J.R.R. Tolkien books as well. I do love
Harry Potter
books, too. Also, books by Ayn Rand and Robert Pirsig are enjoyed by me.
To be honest, I'll read pretty much anything.
(b) Fight Club, American History X, Se7en, Payback, Trainspotting, True Romance, The Red Violin, Hard Core Logo, Snatch, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Big Lebowski. I don't think I've ever seen a Wes Anderson movie that I didn't like.
(c) Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Headstones, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Veruca Salt, Weezer, Audioslave, Green Day, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley, 30 Seconds to Mars, Pixies, Constantines, System of a Down, Silverchair, Butthole Surfers.
(d) Fruits (durian, raspberries, strawberries, apples, dates, pears, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, etc.), Veggies (lettuce, cabbage, etc.), chocolate, nuts, seeds (sunflower and pumpkin specifically), pretty much anything sweet. What favorite food list would be complete without adding pizza?
