My self-summary
I am idiosyncratic. I tend to be most interested in people who are not on a track but innately create structure for themselves. People who have a vision of the world they want to live in and have the audacity and talent to make that vision a reality. This could be philanthropic or in business or artistic or ideally all of the above. It’s not a thing, or a level of achievement – it is an attitude (a sort of, creative, offbeat, type-A, personality). These people challenge everything around themselves and instead of adopting the world view of their culture, have cobbled together one of their own which rationally makes sense to them. If you are one of these people I would love to hear from you!

I am looking for a soul mate… ok I’ll give it a second for the laughter to abate (this is OKC after all). If pushed to define that term I guess I would say I am looking for someone who I can’t decide whether I want to jump on top of for 6 hours or have a 6 hour conversation with more but both sound equally appealing (perhaps do both at the same time?). Like everyone I have ever met, I want to be understood and accepted for who and what I am… which in my case is a rather eclectic (I would say interesting but I’m a little biased) group of qualities. Here are a few things I like about myself:

- My favorite past job involved blowing things up on television
- I started an NGO in Africa
- I have a George Bernard Shaw quote tattoo
- I have been to all seven continents (Antarctica is gorgeous)
- I can't spell to save my life and I am proud of it (very dyslexic)
- I own and work for my own (small) company
- I have a large collection of tribal masks (primarily from the Congo but also West Africa and British Columbia)

So who am I? I have been called by others - Intense, honest, affectionate, creative, eccentric, passionate, a bit of an adrenalin junkie – and maybe I am a bit of all of those things.
What I’m doing with my life
Professional entreprnuer (nope not Sean Parker). I fund and develop small tech companies and love every minute of it. For fun I help guide a microfinance/education charity I cofounded in Africa a few years back and design unusual furniture for a gallery
I’m really good at
Solving crazy problems, crisis situations, snuggling, building anything, putting my foot in my mouth, cooking…
The first things people usually notice about me
My intensity/enthusiasm/passion or the fact that I talk and think a million miles a second.

The six things I could never do without
Hanging out with my brother
A challenge
My Car
Chinese Food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to put a :) in parentheticals without giving it a double chin, how things work, how amazingly ridiculous the messages the women I know get from this site, how to productively challenge the status quo, non-ironic seersucker, how much context REALLY does matter, how fascinating un-categorizable people are...
On a typical Friday night I am
Traveling (I do that a lot). Staying in and snuggling.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My ringtone is the theme music to Coming to America

I'm the kind of guy who still reads a paper NYT
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 20–32
  • Near me
  • For long-term dating, casual sex

- You are a(n) Entrepreneur/Professional/Artist
- Intelligence -- you know without googling most of the answers to "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" level questions but only about half of "Win Ben Steins Money" level questions. Actually, on second thought, points for just knowing who Ben Stein is.
- Identify as being Creative
- Consider yourself a thoughtful human being and aware of the greater world around you
- Are willing to take a stand in an argument with a stranger
- Are adventurous -- curious about exploring or at the very least ordering anything on the menu with more than 2 chili pepper symbols
- Have a Sense of humor
- Passion/drive -- you have something in your life which you work hard at and are proud of
- Take care of your body -- be honest, you definitely know what that means
- Are Low maintenance -- you also know what this means
- Consider yourself a closet nerd
- Have lived in at least 3 cities
- Look good in glasses
- Enjoy having sex once a day
- Have a meaningful Tattoo -- I cant tell you how many tattoos I have seen which I know the person is going to regret. Favorites include boy band song lyrics, flaming (anything), and that overused phrase from Dead Poets Society.
-think you could add something to this list I would agree with

*Also, bonus points if you have a hook up for BBQs/Bonfires on the beach.

Or, the non-intimate option, you are looking to creatively collaborate on an art/design or science project (always looking for creative soul mates)!
