My self-summary
First and foremost, I should probably tell you that people either love me or hate me. There usually isn't room for indifference. I have often been characterized as a "nice guy," which I would like to think is true. I pride myself in being a kind and genuine person, who wears his heart on his sleeve. I am an extremely passionate person about the things that I love and those who I care about. I am easygoing and down-to-earth. I am outgoing, but can also be shy at times. I am a pretty outspoken person as well. I love to talk and meet new people. I enjoy telling stories, lame jokes, and making people smile/laugh. I love to learn new things. I am fascinated by diversity and believe that it's the people who are different from us that have the most to teach us. While my brain loves complexity, I do appreciate the simple things in life. I love a good adventure and I'm always down to try new things. I love the outdoors and just about anything and everything that is associated with it - camping, hiking, rafting, tubing, bike-riding, skiing, snowboarding, picnicking, etc. I will also be the first to admit that I can be a little eccentric at times, but in the best possible way. I try hard not to take myself too seriously and I like being around people who make me smile. I am a very open and accepting person, who tries not to judge a book by its cover. I have a big imagination and love to daydream. I am an extremely resourceful person and am often the guy who my friends and the people who know me will turn to if they need something. I love to have fun and I've been told that I'm a lot of fun to hang out with. I would like to consider myself trustworthy as well as dependable. A couple of my more recent hobbies include Sunday morning flea markets and yoga. I also enjoy drinking coffee and listening to NPR or browsing Reddit as well as traveling, going to concerts, and frequenting the park.
What I’m doing with my life
I moved to California from Kansas about 9 years ago. Lived in Santa Clara for 4 years (attended Santa Clara University - Management / Music Major) then moved to the city, where I went back to school at Pyramind for Audio Engineering and Music Production. Since then I have just been working a lot and making music. I am the marketing and communications manager for a real estate company based out of Kansas City, so I travel b/w SF and KC quite a bit. I am an artist as well as a music and event producer. I also drive part-time for a ride-share company called Lyft and I am a freelance event promoter.
I’m really good at
making people smile, people watching, being a dork, juking people out on the dance-floor, moving thru a crowd, getting the party started, kissing, parallel-parking, being a smart-ass, snuggling, hosting, quoting random movies and commercials that only a small amount of people recognize, telling stories, talking, giving advice, dancing, camping, skiing, snowboarding, frisbee
The first things people usually notice about me
my big smile or my baby face... if I'm out, it's probably the fact that I'm dancing like no one is watching or being overly enthusiastic about something...
