My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am adventurous, passionate, and always looking for new challenges.

In 4th grade, my teacher told my parents that I thought about things very differently. I was then placed in the advanced reading class and the struggling reading class at the same time. I blame the schools.

Within me is a deeply rooted need to stay physically and mentally fit. Finding the time is an on going struggle, but as the Merovingian said "How can you ever have time, if you never take time?"

I am a geek at heart, a nerd in mind, an athlete in form, and an entrepreneur in spirit.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I dropped out of school for a great startup opportunity, and only went back for love of my mother. Unfortunately for my wonderful mother, I quickly dropped out again, and will probably never go back.

I went through a Software Apprenticeship where I learned how to be a professional software engineer. It was a fantastic experience which catapulted my career ahead several years and taught me about being a Craftsmen. All work is good work, so long as you make it your passion.

I spent some time as a consultant developing at Groupon -- basically building really cool jazz and making sure the place didn't explode. I also got to see it transform from this little startup to the monolithic deals platform it is today.

Startups are the shiznat. Creating and working in them is like nothing else in the world. The excitement. The energy. The learning until you feel like your mind is melting away and the only thing left to do is rage your face off. All of it creates an experience you will never forget.

I have started and worked at a bunch of 'em now. I have a couple of apps in the AppStore, and many more on the way as I write this.

All of this is just a stepping stone, however. We are all on a roller-coaster of change. Our world is about to be swept up in a whirlwind of challenge and opportunity, and I will be there to help make sure we hit the ground running!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Video games, engineering, wrestling, problem solving, making a phenomenal cup of coffee, critical thinking and reasoning, sleeping (I went polyphasic for 5 months and it changed the way I will sleep for the rest of my life), and being impressively poor at basketball

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

My friends and Family

Kettle bells
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The Root of All Good.

I know what it is now too.

I find it fascinating thats such a fundamental question (What is the root of all good?) is now so removed from not only our education, but the very way we live our lives.

Ask me about it
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working, adventuring, exploring some new speakeasy, doing something extremely foolish but unregrettable (is that a word? it should be), lifting, or probably gaming
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I often leap without looking and take risks without planning. I recently went on an adventure with a close friend, deep into the wilderness of the Appalachian Mountains. We were foolish enough to try to survive for four days with no tent, no technology, minimal training, and only a days worth of food.
