My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Looking for a partner for: hanging out in coffee shops, talking about good books, camping, kayaking, watching movies, cooking fancy food.

My ideal Saturday: Tea and toast for breakfast, while catching up on that week's Daily Show. Take the dogs to the park for a hike. A quick trip to the Strip District for groceries (and, let's be honest, probably a second breakfast at Enrico Biscotti). Drink some wine, prepare and eat an awesome dinner, maybe watch a movie. In bed by 10, but not asleep until 3.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've got a good career at a good company. My job is challenging and interesting, but structured so that I don't have to bring it home with me. That leaves me time for more important things: friends, family, hobbies.

Outside of work, some things that I'm currently doing:
Trying to keep my garden healthy.
Learning to make sushi.
Finishing up some mini-DIY projects around my house.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Giving advice, taking naps, assembling IKEA furniture (all that time playing with LEGOs as a kid has finally paid off)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Christopher Moore, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Dan Simmons, Peter Hamilton, Stephen King. I also listen to a lot of NPR podcasts. I recently discovered Naomi Novik. The Napoleonic Wars + Dragons? Yes!

I like just about all movies, particular favorites are UHF, Monty Python, The Princess Bride, Triangle.

All-time favorites: Scrubs, Good Eats, Firefly, Modern Family, The Daily Show, Malcolm in the Middle; Watched recently: The Mindy Project, Pram Face, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl

Wow, I love food. I'll eat just about anything, as long as it isn't too spicy (where "too spicy" means "more than slightly spicy").
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and friends
My dogs, Tucker and Grace
A good audiobook
Internet connection
A kitchen full of pots and pans and a basement full of tools
My garden
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A great comeback to that thing that someone said 15 minutes ago.

The moral lessons of Scrubs. Recently, the moral lessons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. (Spoiler alert: There are none.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My last few Fridays:

Visited my grandmother, then made pizza on the grill (hand made dough and everything) and watched Tucker & Dale Vs Evil.

Grocery shopping, neighbors invited me over for root beer floats, I invited neighbors over to do cartwheels in my back yard.

Camping with friends on an island in the Susquehanna river.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm really annoyed that I missed out on the Planet Money Kickstarter t-shirt.

I just bought a copy of Top Gun, *in 3D*.
