My Self-Summary
Finally finished with university, I'm now working as a physicist. I
spend much of my free time gaming (X-box and PC, casual gamer. I do
play WoW with friends and am enjoying Dungeon Runners at the
moment) and reading (sci fi, fantasy, mysteries). I suppose it's
fair to call myself a geek girl, though more a science geek than
the stereotypical compsci type (but don't get me wrong, I can still
keep up with CS geeks when the need arises).
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Authors: James Alan Gardner, Peter David, Terry Pratchett.
Movies: ST: First Contact, Star Wars IV, V, and VI, Ghostbusters, Serenity, the Indiana Jones trilogy.
Television: Firefly, Buffy, ST:TNG, Bones, Angel, Doctor Who, Torchwood.
Music: Mostly Canadian bands, and a pile of folk performers that are too obscure to list - if you're from Ottawa, think of the people who play at the Folk Festival, Westfest, or even Bluesfest these past years.
Food: Generally, not a big fan of food. Which is to say, I'm picky. I suppose I'll give the normal girl answer of "chocolate."
