I am always curious about what our youth are doing today and how youth entertainment grows and changes as those youth take their passion with them into adulthood. The whole obsession with the 70's and 80's is amusing and creepy since I LIVED through the 70's and 80's.

I don't share my political views often, but I like a good debate
and will often take the opposing view from my own just to test
someone else's resolve. Religion is the same way. I will debate any point, but my personal views I keep to myself. Too often someone will take personally that you don't share their views and become defensive, so I keep my views to myself until I feel safe
sharing.

I played in the SCA for many years and had a wonderful time, but I got too close to the politics once and that left a bad taste in my mouth. I stopped going for many years, but recently I have had a yen for tight corsets and hand kissing so I am considering a quiet look at the SCA again and this time NO POLITICS. Perhaps I will take a lesson from raising my children, maybe I will take a newbie with me and rediscover through
their eyes the wonder that is the Middle Ages.

I am currently a full-time Domestic Engineer. I am discovering that I have a passion for throwing pottery. I still sew avidly.

My library is very full. Lots of Sci-Fantasy and some Sci-Fiction.
My taste is evolving, I know every spell for clearing a dungeon,
now I am more interested in how to build a time machine. I also
like biographies and the occasional vampire/werewolf erotica. I am finding The Assault on Reason to be intense. I can only read a chapter at a time and then I need several days to digest what was just read and link it to what I read previously. Al Gore has written an amazing book, but I am reserving judgement on the man himself.

I like food, just look at my photos. :) I don't do well with hot
spices so my Indian and Mexican choices are limited. I don't care for Thai. I recently worked very hard to get over my "yuck" at raw fish and am now an avid fan of sushi.
