I went to school for bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees and began a career in business early on. I seized an opportunity in the software industry at the tail end of the internet bubble and eventually went on to start and later sell a biotechnology company.
In the past few years I've spent a fair amount of time in Europe and Asia, read some great [and not so great] books, skied in far away places, learned to cook, sailed to Brazil, and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro with some friends.
I'm certain we'll find plenty in common because my interests are very broad - movies, concerts, the symphony, Vegas, South Orange County beaches, specialty coffee shops, strong drinks, San Francisco's farmer's market, playing (not watching) almost any sport, anime, museums, touring art galleries, science fiction & fantasy, scientific lectures, lifting weights, running, playing piano, painting, Jackson Hole, Paris, Florence, Shanghai - and a million other things!
