A little about me...hmmm...I'm friendly to most, sassy and funny if I get to know you. A little shy and quiet in new situations and around men. (I sometimes blush and get tongue tied, how embarrassing!) I like to think things through before making decisions, but I'm very independent and definitely have opinions. I'm sort of a mix of contradictions. But I consider that one of the perks of being female. :) I work 40hrs a week and enjoy my job in a dental office. I like to have some "recharge me" time after work. I'm honest, kind,loyal, and generous to family and friends. I'm a single parent, which is my primary full-time job. But, I think it's time to start giving myself some consideration. I'd like playdates too! :) I've decided to give this a try as a gift to myself. Most of my life has been about pleasing others. I haven't been in a serious relationship in 10years. No, I'm not afraid of having a close connection with a man. In fact, I crave a mutually stimulating physical and mental connection with the right man. For the last 10 years I've been dedicated to raising my son and making sure we have security. Now we do and it's not such a struggle. I've got time now to consider what I want. Is it you? Let's find out. :o)

I'm looking for a tall, handsome single man who: doesn't live with his Mother, works full time like me, and has a good sense of humor. I'd like a man who knows what he wants and when to be assertive, but not obnoxious. I'm looking for a man who is honest, kind, patient, and will dance with me. Wanna dance? It'd be nice if you're easy to look at (and a few extra pounds means there's more to love :o) likes animals(and I don't mean hunting), reading, music, dining out, watching movies. I prefer someone that isn't constantly using/answering their cell phone. I find that rude. Regarding religion, let me just quote a bumper sticker that caught my eye, "Religious people scare me, Spiritual people inspire me." That about sums up my feelings. If you're very religious, good for you, but I'll pass. I try to go by the Golden Rule.

The last quality I'm looking for is the toughest one, are you trustworthy? Because I won't share. If you think we might click send me an E-MAIL message. And gentleman, do yourselves a favor, include a picture and fill out your profile. That's all I can think of for now, but will probably add more later. I seem to be getting pickier by the day. (Ha!)This seems like a tall order, but I know you're out there somewhere.

I'm stable, secure, and a devoted Mom. And have spent a long time on the sidelines. Decided this was the year to make some changes. I got a wonderful dog this Spring, and as a a result of walking him, I'm down 40lbs! And, I'm not done yet. Want to walk with me?

Where do I start? I love to read, and frequently stay up too late finishing a good book. Consequently, I have an excellent vocabulary and I'm not afraid to use it! :o) Some of my favorite authors are Dianne Setterfield, Donna Leon, Jodi Picoult, Robert Crais, Robert Parker, Dan Brown, Janet Evanovich, Robert K Tanenbaum, Neil Gaiman, Lee Charles Kelley, Anne McCaffrey, Michael Crichton, George RR Martin, and JK Rowling. I read a wide variety. What do people who don't read do?!!!!

I'm definitely a rock'n'roll girl. Boston and Nickelback being my 2 favorites.

Favorite movies? Definitely, Maybe or Pride and Prejudice.

I'm a huge fan of Rescue Me, although I like Dirty Jobs too.

Favorite food? Chocolate....mmmmm...... Or anything from a bakery :)
