My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm eclectic, kind, compassionate, loving and have a big heart. I love to read, watch movies, walk, sing, hang out, go to coffee, movies. I don't really have a type I'm seeking, I'm just looking for someone who's down to earth, somewhat laid back who enjoys life and who wants to hang out together, go to dinner, lunch, movies, walk down by the river. Although I love nature and the outdoors, I'm not the kind of woman who picks up and goes camping, or spends hours in nature consecutively.

I want someone who likes to discuss things like books, music, philosophy, new ideas, sci fi, bags of holding, tesseracts, spirituality, art, beauty, neuroplasticity, going to symphony...ANYTHING...and who enjoys walking/sitting by the lake/river, watching the sunrise/sunset, bicycling or listening to the rushing waterfall sharing tea/coffee...And kissing, hours of kissing with our hands buried in each others hair...

But, truly? I don't belong here. I see your faces, I like your eyes, or your smile reaches out to me, but your "qualifications" don't fit. I'm too young/too old/not the right body type/not athletic enough/not conservative enough/not religious enough...it goes on and on and on. This place is a facade, and I'll never get past the walls. Unless we see each other face to face, there simply isn't a way to know...

I am an ex-Mormon and an ex-Southern Baptist. I’m also an ex-right-wing-fundamentalist. I am probably not any religion you would recognize. I’m considered a heretic by most Christians. I’m left of center politically. I believe in love, acceptance and equality for all. I’m pro-science, pro-education (an educated populace can make their own, informed decisions), pro-gun control/registering, pro-legalizing pot at a federal level (no I do not partake), pro-choice, VOCIFEROUSLY pro-contraception and pro-gay people/marriage. My second husband was very strict/devout, VERY controlling with the Bible. I will not go back to that.

I love science fiction, fantasy fiction, historical fiction. Also philosophy, neuroplasticity of the brain and other books where I learn things I do not yet know. For many years I gave up reading all fiction and concentrated on books on spirituality and self-help. But I read fiction again to relax and escape.

Oh, geez, do you have an hour? Books would take a week...I like books on spirituality, world religions, Buddhism, self-improvement. Fantasy fiction, science fiction and drama also. So many books, so little time.

I like all kinds of music except for blues (depresses me). I like Battlestar Galactica (reboot), Firefly, Star Trek(s), Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Downton Abbey, Dr. Who (HUGE fan), House of Cards on Netflix. Arrow. House. Smallville. Once Upon A Time. Anime.

Sadly, I'm a rather picky eater, so that probably should be discussed later...

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hmm, this depends. Home or at the library or at the movies or at a friends or a restaurant...
