My self-summary
For many years I was a ne’r do well backpackacker until one day I decided I needed to join society, so naturally I went for job in the travel industry. I have travelled to over 20 countries and been on all seven continents. But I love Brooklyn the most. It never ceases to impress me.

I grew up in San Francisco and have lived in NYC for 9 years. I always think eventually I will move back west.

My philosophy on life is, "Things worth doing are worth doing well." ~ Marilyn Monroe, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, 1952
What I’m doing with my life
Self-editing. Looking up words in the thesaurus so I can be witty when flirt-texting.

Last year I quit my job and went back to school to persue my passion to learn to program. So now I spend a lot of time coding.

I swim, bike, lift weights and do cheesy walking exercise videos on Hulu.
I’m really good at
I have a lot of friends from different walks of life. <3 them all dearly.

Also I’m funny, though nothing sounds quite so unfunny as writing, “I’m funny.” But I have been known to play the clown.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am obsessed with retro glamour, so when I hit it right I look like a classic movie star, or at least a well-kept 1950s housewife.

I have a curvy bod in an out-in-out way. When I concede that my actual true body type is curvy, it's not an euphemism for bovine.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love torch singers from the 50s, big band jazz, swinging cocktail music and the American songbook.

My cupboards have grains, legumes, a cornucopia of fresh fruits and vegetables, and organic meats. I am well-suited with someone who appreciates and embraces a healthy food lifestyle. Korean food is my favorite. Anyang! That's Korean for: Hello.
The six things I could never do without
My extensive music collection - that's my happy place.
Sidecar cocktails in low lit lounges.
The happy little heaven I've made my Brooklyn brownstone apartment.
My twice yearly visits home to San Francisco to see my family.
Werkin' out.
Flowers. Chicks dig flowers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to fill out an online dating profile without coming off as contrived. Nope! Just kidding, that is not possible.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with work friends, or other friends, or out to see music or dancing, or on a date, or resting up for a plentiful weekend.

But that is the thing about NYC, any night can be Friday night if you want it to be.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Fact: I have a bit of an Antarctic iceberg in my freezer
You should message me if
You are cute, hot and good.
