My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Seems I'm currently discovering new things, places and people at a faster rate than I'm used to. It's mostly fun and part of it involves a site like this. I'm trying to strike a good balance between work and life this year and trying to move away from too much time online and back to reading books and watching my huge backlog of movies, so not sure if this profile may get neglected.

I love to play guitars loud and make music or go bike riding through adventure trails or spend time in contemplation in the park or seeking inspiration from ancient and modern art and artefacts in galleries and museums.

Like to think I'm a modernist but increasingly tipping a nod to tradition.

I work with images - photography which is hugely rewarding and educational. Despite me judging aesthetic merits and visually attractive imagery every day, personality and mind are the guiding lights.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on my spirit.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Darts and pub quizzes. Must have been a publican or barfly in a previous life. Odd regional accents. Good at tasting things like fine wine or cheese and summing up the flavours without using annoying similies. Doodling. Good at 11pm at night and rubbish at 9am.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I have the swarthy looks of a mediterannean pirate or conquistador.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Bass guitar; a thick black ink pen; sturdy shoes; radio; fluffy towels; a car and an open road.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life on other worlds and travelling to the stars for an intergalactic vacation.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Dawdling before going out or waxing my tache.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like stimulating, intellectual conversation and will send a composed note, low on the text-speak and can see past the slightly underexposed photos. Don't want them used elsewhere as some sites do. If you like laughing too, because I realise I use humour to mask my nerves...
