My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I suppose I should put something here :). I'm somewhat of an introvert that still manages to be fairly active socialy, (too actively most of the time, I sometimes think I have too many friends) and be somewhat adventurous. If you would like to get to know me better, ask me questions.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
For a living I work as a technical lead and process owner for a department in large IT outsourcing company. This basically means I’m a bit of a computer nerd. Don't hold that against me though as I also enjoy things like hiking, skiing, scuba diving and a number of outdoor activities, computers are a good career, but not my whole life. I've been very lucky with my career and have managed to get myself into a position where I work full time from home. So I have lots of freedom to travel and visit family or sometimes other parts of the world and still work. I love to travel and try to do at least 1 trip a year someplace new. I don't always manage that, but I at least travel to visit my family a couple of times a year.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
learning, and learning from my mistakes. :), nobody is perfect.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I prefer books to movies and movies to TV. I tend to read more fiction and sci-fi/fantasy than non-fiction. Just to name a few I’ve enjoyed John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Stephen R Donaldson, Raymond E Feist, Terry Brooks, Jean Rabe, James Mitchner, etc. For music I enjoy a little of just about everything, but probably mainly focus on classic rock, some oldies and alternative rock. I’m fairly music illiterate though, so don’t ask me which band sings a song :).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
life, the universe and how things could be improved.
