I'm an east coast transplant who is hell-bent on exploring every
corner of this godless city. I work hard so that I can play harder;
I've found there's no room for mediocrity here. I value sharing
experiences and connecting with people over everything, so you're
more likely to find me at LACMA than Luxe. People generally
describe me as cool, calm, and collected, but I don't let that
steal from my zeal for an interesting life. If you're the type that
gets excited about trying a new restaurant, bar, or art gallery,
shoot me a message; you won't be dissaponted.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently trying to push the limits of space exploration for
humanity, or something boring like that. If you've seen any of the
Iron Man movies, you know my boss, and you know where I work.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, no matter the circumstance. Cooking Italian,
grilling the perfect steak, whipping up some dessert on the fly.
I've been told my sharp sarcastic wit toes the line a bit, I'll let
you decide which side it ends up on.
The first things people usually notice about me
Blue/green eyes, and my dry humor delivered with a wry grin
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My all-time favorite book is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
Other favorites are The Stranger, Map of Bones, Kitchen
Confidential, the whole Harry Potter Series, and of course the
Movies: Oceans Trilogy, Bourne Trilogy, Back to the Future Trilogy,
Ronin, Citizen Kane, Breakfast at Tiffany's, War Games, The
Breakfast Club, all James Bond, Zoolander, Spaceballs, Wayne's
World, Beverly Hills Cop, Leon Le Professional, il Postino,
Music: I can seriously listen to every genre, and I'm not using
that as a cop-out. Depending on my mood, l can listen to Frank
Sinatra, Shinedown, Tom Petty, Alice in Chains, MF DOOM, Samuel
Barber, Kavinsky, Tame Impala, you name it. My useless talent is
being able to name most songs within just a few beats.
The six things I could never do without
1) Contacts! I'm utterly useless without them.
2) My Book Collection - I feel like reading the same books again
and again at different points in your life is very eye opening to
how much a person changes.
3) Family - My family is very tight knit, and I think that is a
damn good thing. We all get along at Thanksgiving, and we can all
trust each other.
4) Friends - I love when the line between friends and family begins
to a blur.
5) Passion - It drives me every day, in every activity. Without it
I am nothing, or at the very least, boring.
6) The Gym - Sounds shallow, but it helps everything in my life.
Really, at what point do you let your body just become a transport
mechanism for your brain?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Over-analyzing people and situations more than I would like. But
hey, I chalk it up to really appreciating the beauty of life. After
all my job title is "analyst"
On a typical Friday night I am
Working hard in the lab until late, then having some drinks with
friends before closing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really, really love the Devil Wears Prada and Ghosts of
You should message me if
You can hold interesting conversation
You know how to laugh and have fun
You aren't afraid of trying new things
You are an ambitious person
