My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
“I look up at the night sky, and I know that, yes, we are part of this Universe. We are in this Universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts is that the Universe is in us. When I reflect on that fact, I look up—many people feel small, because they’re small and the Universe is big, but I feel big, because my atoms came from those stars.”

Anyways, I'm a Boston born and bred engineer who is always looking for an adventure. All I really need to be happy is a mountain to climb, some good weather and some music playing while I sit around a campfire.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Work: A few months ago I lucked out and got a job in Natick that makes me happy as can be. My commute is only 10 minutes from where I live and 1 minute from my brothers house. I love the company I work for, ask me about it.

I'm an engineering salesman. Which, according to my coworkers, is apparently like finding Bigfoot... An engineer that can socialize?!?! No way!

I'm also planning on opening a business with one of my best buddies sometime this year and will be spending a lot of my free time coding a program for him.

Free-Time: I just started a new work-out program and am really excited for summer to come so I can start climbing again. On top of that I love basketball, some video games and being a regular at the local dive bars. Getting to know your bartender comes with some solid perks, let me tell you.

Also, my brother recently had a kid and I try to spend as much time with my nephew as possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh and if I were to make a guess, you said you like laughing on your profile as well. So, shoot me a message and let me help you with that. Cheers to being an enabler!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Right now, my beard. If I was inclined to toss on a Sox jersey and run on the field I'd have one hell of a head start before the guards realized what was going on.

If you understand why the beard would help me run across Fenway, you've earned some extra points.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Right now I'm reading A Song of Ice and Fire. However, Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, Ender's Game and Harry Potter were there first... Basically I dig Sci-fi/Mystery Thrillers.

Movies: If Tarantino wrote a film staring the cast of Monty Python, with a Lord of the Rings epic type story and a soundtrack done by Pink Floyd, I'd need some serious addiction therapy.

Shows: Breaking Bad, Doctor Who, How I Met Your Mother, Archer. If it's funny or on BBC, I am sold.

Music: Pink Floyd, Tame Impala, The Beatles, Wu Tang Clan.... I listen to basically anything other than country and pop. My list is pretty extensive and I love to find new bands. So, if you have any suggestions message me. I love to talk about music.

Food: I love food. I'll eat almost anything other than beets. Screw beets.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Caffeine. The amount of coffee and espresso I consume in a day could probably kill a small horse.

-Mind-Blowing Music. If we go out, just know my headphones were there first and sometimes they get a bit jealous.

-Mountains. There is nothing like being on top of a mountain on a clear summer day.

-Starry-Night Sky. Nevermind, I lied. There is nothing like being on top of a mountain on a clear summer night.

-Boston Sports. Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins till death do we part.

-Sarcasm. If you aren't fluent we may have issues.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
-Space. The possibilities are endless. Seriously... look up at night sometime.
-Sonder. Pretty much for the same reason as space, minus the looking up part.
-Dogs. Can't wait to adopt my first pup this summer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
-Hitting the bars with some friends. Whether it's hitting up a few brothers from my fraternity or going out my close friends, most of my Friday nights are spent gallivanting around the Boston bars.

-Dogsitting. I love dogs and jump on the opportunity to look after my brother's two pups whenever I get the chance.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My roommate sophomore year brought home a 6 pack of IPAs. Being completely serious, I asked him, "So, what exactly does it mean for a beer to have extra 'ip-ah'?"

To this day, I can't see "IPA" without secretly pronouncing it ip-ah in my head.
You should message me if

You liked the quote I started my profile with and respect the man who said it.

If you're looking for somebody to hit some new bars with or go climbing this summer.

You'd like to talk about music.

By the way: I rate anyone I'm interested in, but I often don't send the 1st message unless there's a hint that you might be interested back. I do this because I get that women can have inboxes bombarded by tons of messages, and I don't want to get caught in the rabble. So feel free to message me first or rate me that way I can catch the hint.
